One of the things that we learned as soon as we started, this journey was that we always had to expect the unexpected. A few weeks ago we hosted a Friendsgiving and the morning of the event, the power went out. But we pivoted, still had an incredible time and made memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. SAVE FOR LATER!For Aaron’s birthday we went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Party and we had an absolute blast! There is SO much to do, and you can enjoy all of the festivities, at a THIRD of the crowds! We waited less than 30 minutes for every single ride in the park, but on top of that, we enjoyed Halloween parades, specialty concerts, and trick-or-treating! While we try to chase 75°, the reality is that for us to see family, friends, and different sites around the country, sometimes we have to deal with cooler weather! When staying at campgrounds, our electric is included in our nightly rate, so we try to use electric as much as we can, instead of propane to cut down on expenses. We use a combination of space heaters and our electric fireplace to keep the RV warm, as long as the temperatures are above freezing. This is also a sign to us, that the longer we do this, the closer we are to getting to Florida for the winter! Want to see more? Massachusetts was a beautiful state, and there is so much to do! Each city has so much to offer, and they are all vastly different. Even though the state is not huge, be sure to take time to explore each area. 1️⃣ The ferry to Martha’s Vineyard takes about a half hour and is a great day or weekend trip! 2️⃣ Going into Boston to catch a Red Sox game at Fenway Park is a must, the history of the stadium itself is incredible. 3️⃣ Plymouth is a quaint small town, and is home to Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower ll. 4️⃣ Cape Cod is beautiful, and there’s a Paddle Boat that does day trips from Plymouth to the infamous Provincetown on the Cape! We live in our RV full-time, so it can very quickly feel like we are always on vacation! That being said, we still work, and have all the same day-to-day chores and tasks as anyone else.The biggest difference?
