Today we have the honour of presenting you a new project -
Les Ordures de l'esprit pur!

Their debut album titled "Ceci n'est pas du métal noir" may or may not appear under our label but will eventually find its way from or to France and back to Éstonie. Or was it the other way around...?

After the second bottle of champagne the lines between réalité and folie may have been blurred, as it appears.

For fans of French Metal, for slightly obvious reasons.

The Tarbathian band Form has created an interesting cover from the legendary Thorns official.

What only existed as a guitar demo recording of the original band has now been transformed by Form into a full song, adding an additional layer of their own unique style into the blend.

New song online!

The title track "Teekond Itta" ("The journey eastwards") is the tale of one man's forced journey from his homeland to a prison camp in remote Siberia and his drowning under the heavy burden of labour slavery there.
In the 1940s, tens of thousands of people from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and other areas occupied by the Soviet Union shared a similar fate.
Only a few of them could withstand terror, and only a few of them have shared their story with others. In this way, Vare carries a strict mission, speaking of experiences that we may not be willing to listen to, but that we need to know regardless - because without it, we would not understand the evil raising our heads today.

Time to announce our upcoming release!

"Teekond Itta" is a demo from the freshly founded VARE, with 20 minutes of play time to give you an idea of this really interesting group!

The songs reflect the history of Estonia on its ugliest side where there is little room for heroicism and a general hopelessness is prevalent, which is also thematized by the lyrics.

From a musical perspective, this band is rich in facettes, ranging from sinister Black Metal riffs to melancholic leads. Overall, the music reminds at times of Shining (the Halmstad album) due to reasons I still try to understand (and I might be wrong), whereas the vocals range from classical Black Metal screaching to clean parts.

We will give you an opportunity to listen to one of their songs before the release to make up your mind, so stay tuned!

There we had a conversation with the member of Langenu, 1695 (guitar, vocals) and Koljat (drums) who talked about the sophisticated philosophy behind their newest EP “Setooniq”, the use of the Seto language in metal music, and, last but not least, attraction and anti-attraction to certain celestial bodies. Today 1 year ago we were honoured to release the debut album of Pagansarv. In 2022 we have only released one album so far - but behind the curtains we have been as active as ever. Apart from another 3 albums that are going to be released this year, we have also been working on some videos. Mainly, for Pagansarv's album title song "Kaarnakarva". We recently ran out of CDs but don't you worry - there will be a Vinyl coming from a befriended label in the near future... On top of that, we have the priviledge of presenting you Nyctopia's video for their title song "Full Moon Calling". There are more videos to come and we will try to present them to you around the same time when releasing the album but hey - this is the hobby of all of us (including bands) and unfortunately we have boring day-to-day jobs to earn money for this expensive leisure-time activity, which suck our energy and time. In any case - we will keep on working hard during the summer and present to you the next big news closer to Autumn!
