Troy and I went out magnet fishing today. Trying some spots. Got a few small items. Nothing major. Not gonna release a video on it. This area is boring. No major, or even okay finds. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Been out a few times, and really nothing. It's like there is a team of divers cleaning out the waters. No trash ... nothing.

Also, lost my 1500 # single-sided magnet. 😭 My rope was supposed to be a good strong rope, but I got hung up and the rope snapped with little pull. That's Amazon reviews for ya. Gonna order another magnet and better rope. I still have my 1100 # double-sided magnet.

We may head out tomorrow and try something. We'll see.

Here's MWX-UGV-001 on the move.

Hey guys! Meet the MWX-UGV-001 (I don't have a name yet). This is the project I was working on this weekend. Built from scratch. And the build turned out as planned. This is my first RC build. I do need to add a manual retrieval system to it.
This little guy is gonna help see into places I can't get into. It's set up with two mounts for a camera and flashlight.
I'll get some video posted soon.

I will be postponing all activities until after the inauguration. The state of the nation is uneasy, at best, and there are many rumors floating around. 🤞

Schedules have crossed and timing has not been in our favor. Some guests I wanted to include, and who wanted to be included, will not be able to appear and I may just have to run with the core crew, including the others later. Kinda kinks my formatting plans, but I'll have to deal with it.

The plan is to start with magnet fishing, then move on to other formats of treasure hunting. I will also be throwing in some odds and ends things we like to do. Hopefully I will be able to work in some weekly slots over the first couple months after initial start-up.

Team MartianWorx is us having fun doing the things we like and love to do. It could be anything. Literally. Anything.
