A celebration of gratitude!

Every 15th of May, Lucban, Quezon celebrates the Pahiyas Festival in honor of San Isidro Labrador, the patron saint of farmers. It is their way of giving thanks for a bountiful harvest.

The streets of Lucban, Quezon are lined with โ€œkiping,โ€ leaf-shaped, multicolored rice paste wafers that are used to decorate local houses. Street dancing, cultural performances, and parades featuring grand floats and marching bands are just some of the many highlights of the festival. Visitors can also enjoy traditional Filipino delicacies sold along the festival route.
