Knowledge is someone’s power. It is their protection against the harsh reality of the world. And truthfully, it is someone’s jem that could never be stolen from them.
On April 26, 2024, the Philippine Christian University along with the Research Publication Office and Basic Education Department held its first research festival at the 7th Floor Auditorium with the theme “Fostering Research Excellence: Building a Culture of Inquiry and Innovation.” The said event shaped the grade 12’s cognitive skills, communicative abilities, and the confidence to build their collaboration moral that will surely help them in their next paces of life.
Different tarpapels are placed everywhere. The mind-blowing projects of each group surely gave a wow factor to the judges and the participants. Connected to this, the representatives from each group are given a specific amount to present their ideas, and another five minutes for the judge-contestant question and answer portion.
The team showcased their abilities. Their potential and eagerness can be seen enough to prove how dedicated and sincere they are.
In the end, one must step forward. The different groups are awarded for their active participation and recognition. No one will go home empty-handed because everyone is a winner. From the moment they thought of a title to the moment they held the mic and spoke to defend their project, it was enough for them to be a star.
The future leaders who will soon be one of our vanguards The bewildering ideas that can truly captivate one’s awareness. Keep up the good work, leaders! We are looking forward to more solutions from you.

It is a fact that nothing is permanent and that the only constant is change. As we go through changes, we meet new people and have new experiences.
The smiles, waves of laughter, and happiness in the eyes of every Grade 11 student during these magnificent events were so lovely not to be captured and kept. The enjoyment in their eyes was visible during the retreat, which signifies pure happiness. While the victory smiles were prominent during the recognition.
Grade 11 is just one of our stepping stones in achieving our dreams. We know that stepping into the last grade of senior high school is scary. However, we must remember that we were also scared back then, yet we managed to survive and move into the next level of our lives.

The stage is set, the diplomas gleam and the echoes of laughter and cheers fill the air as the 2023-2024 class of Senior High School students of the Philippine Christian University - Senior High School Manila step into the future with caps tossed high and hearts brimming with achievements.
The 98th Commencement Exercises and 9th Completion Ceremony of Class 2023-2024 commenced on May 16, 2024, at the Plenary Hall of Philippine International Convention Center, which marks the end of many years of perseverance, commitment, and priceless memories as our beloved students move to another level and start afresh. It is us who stand here before you to pay tribute to the Class of 2023 - 2024 who bravely spread their wings and soared beyond the walls as they successfully moved from one difficult mountain to another.
Falling short of our goals is not the point; rather, it is the means of how we will climb up and rise above to accomplish the goal with felicity. We knew that the 4 walls of classrooms we all shared could build friendships that could last a lifetime, and so, let these caps and gowns serve as a symbol of our determination, our journey of perseverance and every achievement that we garnered and a message of thanks to those who helped us stand on our own pedestal along the way.
As we turn to the next chapter of our lives, we now look back on the memories that we made, as well as the experience and knowledge that shaped us and made us who we are now. Once again, we, The Layag Films Productions, offer our warmest congratulations to the class of 2023 - 2024 of Philippine Christian University. Where dreams come to life, and greatness is born, for 105 years! ✨
On 3rd of May 2024, with the theme of “Lifting up minds, lifting up lives.” The PCU - Union High School of Manila celebrated its century and five year anniversary.
The students welcomed the celebration with full of beans and warm smiles. To add the fun, culminating events were made for the several strands and grade levels.
The crowd was hyped with the performances of the charismatic, versatile, and powerful dancers from the Hip-Hop Dance Competition. After that came along the Battle of the Bands, where the music enthusiasts serenaded the crowd and showcased their captivating and engaging songs. By celebrating, we reflect on a legacy of compassion, dedication, and service. From humble beginnings to remarkable achievements, the journey has been defined by resilience and a commitment to making a difference.
To honoring our past, embracing our present, and shaping a future filled with endless possibilities. Happy 105th Anniversary, UHSM!

However, during the days where we hustle & bustle, we frequently overlook the beauty of one of the 2 most important mechanisms that society needs in order to survive.
Nevertheless, through our celebration of the Math & Science Month during the month of January, spearheaded by the Science Club and Sipnayan Club; we were able to cultivate a deeper appreciation of the different inventions, discoveries. equations & solutions. As well as, prompting us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the intricate web of knowledge that enriches our existence.

As their quest began, they examined the array of colorful board games laid out before them, each promising its adventure. Their every move ignites a healthy rivalry. Their every calculated move holds the power to step up their battle. As the final round approached, the tension arose, igniting the spirit of each player, but only one can take home the victory.
As they pursue their coveted trophy, they never forget the love and camaraderie each of them showed in the same passion that led to their ultimate trophy--the friendship they made during this adventure.

HIGHLIGHTS: PCU Manila - Senior High School Intramurals Week
Riding high on the sizzling spikes and tricky services! 🏐
The Volleyball Teams of the four strands blasted their way at the 2024 Intramurals. All teams were fairly matched up against one another, serving a dynamic crowd with a suspense increasing fast as the games went on.
Their quickness and strength in spiking and tricky services served as the foundation for their victory over their opponents till the completion of the contest. The game between them was fierce, as they used their unique techniques to earn points, ranging from attacking to positioning to moves, demonstrating their determination to score throughout the battle.
Amidst the breathtaking sets and heat on the field, the game proceeded to make the crowd exhilarated.

Last January 26, 2024, we witnessed the commitment and dedication of the Outreach Program Committee (OPC), which held another outreach project at Barangay 705 of Malate, Manila, entitled...
“The Boppy Project: The Purple Stray Animal Project.”
This project aims to unite and make heaven and home, which involves donating and participating in the feeding program for our cutie fur stray cats and dogs.
Together with the Social Science Club (SSC), Supreme Student Government (SSG), Layag Film Production (LFP), and the local SK officials, the outreach event was successfully done.
Let's toast to yet another well-run outreach program organized by the Philippine Christian University Committee of Outreach Programs!
