Just wanted to give some love to my fellow YouTuber, Decino. He definitely knows DOOM inside and out. An old friend of mine shared this video with me and it is, honestly, one of the most straight forward yet, comprehensive explanations of how the BFG 9000 actually functions. I always just tell people that is hurts anything you can see no matter where the actual bullet hits but, this is WAY better. LoL

This where playing Brutal Doom becomes especially brutal. At least, for episode one. For those that don't know there's two exits in E1M3 and this is where the secret exit takes you. Although, to be fair, it's not all that secret. If you backtrack at all after clearing the last few rooms it's pretty hard to miss.

This is where episode one starts to actually get kind of hard. At least, for me. I'm playing this on Ultra Violence for anyone wondering. That's the second hardest difficult in the original DOOM. Nightmare is the hardest but screw that. It has the exact, same enemy placement as Ultra Violence but all the enemies have double the reaction time, twice the fire rate and two times the movement speed on top of respawning about 8 seconds after you kill them. That's not fun. That's a second job I don't get paid to do :P
