Students in the University of Buea are to begin their 2nd semester examination on the 21st of July to the 8th of August 2020.

According to the University of Buea records, 4,600 students have not paid their fees for the 2019/2019 academic year.
The registrar has signed that the recorded students will not be allowed to sit for exams nor allowed to register for the next academic year. 👇

The Cameroon Parliament is meeting today in Congress (MPs and Senators)
This is for the official swearing in of a member of the constitutional council. The new member Prof. Joseph Owona was appointed by the President April 15th this yesr.

This is the second time parliament is meeting in Congress in the history of Cameroon.

The University of Buea platform which was closed on Saturday 30th 2020 has been reopen for students who had not yet register their courses to do so lasted 15th June 2020.

In effect, students who don't register their courses online will not be allowed to write the examination.

Wazizi’s ‘death’ leaves colleagues, family and lawyer demanding for justice.

According to Michelle Ndoki "This is how you know you live under a dictatorship: a journalist is arrested, dies while under custody, and lawyers and family knows almost one year after. This is unbearable and we can't be asked to continue to bear it".
While Barrister Balla demands answers on what happened to Wazizi👇
"What really happened to Samuel Wazizi? We need answers from the Government. We say no to Impunity and Yes to Accountability".
Meanwhile Rebecca Enonchong the tech entrepreneur says "journalism is not a crime .
Family members are still demanding the death body of their son Samuel Wazizi.

Breaking news!
Cameroonian Journalist Reportedly Dies in Jail

Buea journalist, Samuel Wazizi is reported dead. According to Equinoxe Television, the journalist died within a few days in detention from wounds and injuries sustained after his arrest and torture.

For over 300 days, his lawyers and family have exhausted all legal options to see him, to no avail.

As class effectively tick start today the 2nd of June 2020 in the university of Buea, the Vice-chancellor took it upon himself to move from one lecture hall to another in effact to give students and lecturers the importance of social distancing and the wearing of face mask

Some students without face mask were send out of their classes.
