We have luecaena, Gliricidia Sepium and Musangu seedlings for as low as K5 per tree.

Separating indegenous seeds from their pods is slow but there are over a 100 seeds here already and the work hasn't even started yet.

A 100 trees is a forest - but these would not survive in the wild because of bush fires and lack of conditions for proper germination and growth.

At Green Gold Social we collect a variety of seeds from the wild. With careful seed selection and planting in seed bags where they are watered in health soil, these have a much better chance of becoming trees that will benefit future generations.

FYI, Green Gold Social is an NGO focused on agroforestry and reforestation of native trees in Chongwe.

We are currently running the Chongwe Agroforestry Initiative where we are helping more than 300 farmers become climate resilient through sustainable agriculture trainings. Each farmer will also receive 100 leucaena and musangu seedlings to plant along with their maize.
