Happy birthday to our very first guest actor/producer/director, Tom Stern. An amazing guy and truly one of a kind. He passed away last March, and would've been 92 today. In this clip Tom talks about his early days working as an actor on episodic television in the '60s and '70s. Thanks for spending so much time with us, Tom. We miss you, buddy.

Farewell to our friend, Tom. He passed away peacefully yesterday at the age of 91. His wife, Nancy, really needs help paying for hospice and medical expenses. I know times are tough, but if you can spare anything, it would greatly help her. If a few of you just sent $1 it could make a big difference in her life. Please send donations directly on Venmo @Nancy-Fisher-17 (More info from his family in the comments)
I’ve known Tom since I was 11 years old. He was truly one of a kind. It’s so hard to believe he’s actually gone. Tom was many things to many people. He was a surfer, a baseball player, an actor, and a filmmaker, but I will always think of him as a good friend. He always believed in me when no one else did, even if I didn’t believe in myself. Our podcast wouldn’t even exist without Tom. In 2005, I approached him about making a documentary, but he shot me down. I approached him again about doing a podcast on his life during the Covid-19 pandemic, and since he was bored and trapped at home, he finally gave in to the idea. I’m so thankful and proud to have captured all that footage of Tom talking about his life and career in Hollywood. We’ll do all we can to keep his legacy alive for fans and future film enthusiasts that discover his work. After we finished our last project with Tom, he gave me a courtesy call to thank me. During that conversation he told me he loved me, which was something he’d never said before. I told him I loved him too and thanked him for all the time he’d spent with me over the years. That was the last time we spoke. I regret not seeing him or speaking with him again, but at least I have that moment to carry with me. I’ll miss you, my friend. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything. 🙏💕

Last Friday we were about to release our first docucast with director, Jesse V. Johnson, when we got word that Steven Lambert passed away. We decided to put Jesse's project on hold for another week to properly pay tribute to Steve. Jesse and Steve were both friends and colleagues going back to "Total Recall." Steven also worked many times for Jesse's uncle, stunt coordinator, Vic Armstrong. Jesse V. Johnson is on production overseas and sent this message about Steven Lambert.
"I liked Steve and had worked with him a few times over the years, "Galaxy Quest," most notably. He was always, always incredibly respectful and lovely. It is very sad when the good ones pass."
