What a start of this new year - Angelo Verploegen released not one, but TWO new albums on our label.
Out today is the lovely and hopeful 'Little Dancer' - a duo with pianist Jeroen van Vliet.
On 'Little Dancer', Verploegen and van Vliet come together in an intimate and vulnerable duo setting, breathing life into a carefully selected collection of jazz standards. The album tells stories of life, of hope, and the beauty of childhood. From the timeless charm of Charlie Chaplin's "Smile" to the soulful melodies of Wayne Shorter's "Infant Eyes," each track resonates with light and dark, the universal themes of the human experience.
