Locally owned restaurants took a big hit from the storm. The best way to help them? Stop by for a meal this week.

It’s been a tough couple of days for small business owners, like those who operate the restaurants affiliated with Southern Tier Independent Restaurants, Inc. (STIR). The revenue that is lost when storms like Stella hit is difficult, if not impossible, to make up. In addition to the lost revenue for the owners, staff takes a hit as well. Servers that depend on tips to help make ends meet have not had a good week either. If you usually eat out once or twice a week it would be great if you’d consider adding an additional evening out at one of our great locally owned independent restaurants. You know you’ll enjoy it and the local owners and staff will certainly appreciate it. Bon Appetit!
