Some places I go because I love the adventure, the curiosity of the traveler. Other places because of the people I will see or meet.
Other places because of that feeling of calmness it brings me. The feeling of home. Biarritz, the French West Coast, is one of them. A place where the turmoil of summer mingles with the calmness of the ocean.
Some would say it’s “fancy and busy”, but I believe we all experience a place in our own personal ways. I see a place full of childhood memories, the ocean and rocky cliffs, and the music bands playing in the streets.
Grateful that I have been able to come back there with loved ones.

Yes, I am that 32-year old child who will take herself to see the giraffes.
Some new friends were made. They are a bit wild though, but it’s ok.
Also.. I am scared of snakes 🐍 but in all fairness they are so smooth to touch ☺️

Maman. Today we celebrate the most important woman in my life.
Maman, aujourd’hui on célèbre la femme la plus importante de ma vie.

If I had to find words to say what and who you are, it won’t do justice. You are the woman who inspires me every day.
Si je devais trouver les mots pour exprimer ce que tu es à mes yeux, ils ne te feraient pas justice. Tu es la femme qui m’inspire chaque jour.

The woman who taught me that joy is found in the most simple things, if we got love.
La femme qui m’a appris que le bonheur se trouve dans les choses les plus simples, tant qu’on a l’amour

The woman who stood tall through it all, and showed me what it means to be strong.
La femme qui s’est toujours relevé, et qui m’a montré ce que c’était d’être forte.

The woman who has always believed in me more than I believed in myself.
La femme qui a toujours cru en moi plus que je n’ai cru en moi-même .

The woman who watched me grow through highs and lows, and never let me down.
La femme qui m’a regardée grandir a travers les hauts et les bas, et à toujours été la pour moi.

The woman who let me fly, yet always keeps the nest safe and warm.
La femme qui m’a laisser voler de mes propres ailes, mais garde le nid pour moi.

There is so much beauty that the eye can’t see.

This place is special.
Another sunset adventure with . Let me say it, fun was had 📸 !
The fun part of that story is that as calm as it looks, we fought a hell of a wind on that day 😅 Holding our tripods, and trying not to get blown away from our rock (it’s a real thing). “What wouldn’t we do for a pic ?”. Answer: nothing 🙃
