25 to Life Magazine: A Fresh Perspective on Music, Culture, Fashion, and Lifestyle.
25 to Life Records is an independent record label based in Adelaide, South Australia, founded by Danny Joal, also known as Customs or Cus or The Bambino. The label has been a vital part of the underground music scene in Australia and across the Globe the past Several Years, providing a platform for up-and-coming artists & Veterans also to showcase their talents.
The label was founded in 2017 with the aim of promoting local and global talent and providing a platform for artists who may not have had the opportunity to showcase their music otherwise. Danny Joal aka Customs, who himself is a part time rapper, Song Writer, Album Executive Producer, Album Manager plus Graphic Designer & Magazine Editor-in-Chief, and More!
Cus started the label in 2017 after realizing the difficulty in getting his own Rapper friends and affiliates music out to be heard and played or recognized by anyone in the Underground Music Scene, plus was impossible to get radio play untio I met another Queen, Miss Fabulous aka DJ DEEDEESKI of Bossladys Radio Show!
At the Start all I wanted/ needed was someone to talk to me ans Actually Listen to me and take some time to hear me out, but no one had the Patients too listen, I don't know why?! I never worked it out, Jelousy is a Curse, Unlucky for them! I tried through all kinds of independent labels in Australia and more, radio shows, Podcasts, Random Rappers & so much more, but they were the wrong people obviously??! Not giving us any feedback back, not even a FB msg really, or some just straight out ignored Us, Don't know why, but I do Know Jelousy is a Curse!
Sayin that, Some did reply with some poxy small messages and a couple people tried telling me in a MSG that a Global Album let-alone a Global Label with all different kinds of artists from wherever in the world, wouldn't work at all they said...??! With way different Time Zones, All The Big Musical Countries in Hip Hop / Rap with the Big Independent Artists going around ATM'/ They all sleep at different times he goes and partying at different times and alot more at all different time zones, they just had no faith in my Plan & Idea at all?!!!
But Boy did this all Change & Man did I Prove every single one WRONG!!!
Few months Looking for the Right person to Collaborate with, Label wise, Music wise and more, Theresa Taylor aka The Phoenix, a Real Music Mogul, Designer, Magazine Editor-in-Chief and More, Stepped Right Up and took me on! She absolutely loved the Ideas, she thought it would be a Huge Task but definitely Possible and if anyone could do it, THAT'S ME! and that is all I Needed to hear, I went on and Made My Underground Record Label called '25 TO LIFE RECORDS' &
Now in 2023 We have a striving Global Record Label, with Artists & Affiliates from Australia to USA, from New Zealand to The U.K & More with Affiliates from all Corners of the Globe!
No big brands/ Labels etc really wasn't to interested to work with us when we first started out, especially anyone making a name for themselves at that time, they don't want a New Label getting ahead or a bigger independent label than theirs, which now was a blessing in disguise due to the way it went and we did it all ourselves & now we are a way Bigger, Independent Record Label.
Then a few Asked for help from, I won't Name Drop, but you know who you are, You Missed Out, Saying none of this would be Possible?! Well here we F*"king are Buddy, making it in the Underground Scene, Leaving Big Footprints... YOU MISSED OUT, YOU SAID NO!
But at the time it really pi**ed em' off. So Customs decided to do It himself & create what is now, one of the biggest, hottest Underground Record Labels in the Game '25 to Life Records'.
The label's name, 25 to Life, is a reference to the microphone giving us Life, which also gave us all a Life Sentence to Create Music under 25 to Life. The label's logo, The Rapper man & the Crown both Represent the struggle and the passion that goes into creating music that is for sure!

25 to Life Records has released music across various genres, including hip hop, R&B, Rock, electronica, Soul, Pop & More.
The label has a roster of very talented artists, including Customs himself, Kartune, Miss Fabulous, Myronizinfektious, Lyrest, Josh Evans, NiaNia, Major Blazor as well as other artists such as our label Affiliates like, Witewidow, Ant Tha General, Tekoa King Lion, Yarndi, Quarantine, Killa Kin, T.O.H.P aka The One Handed Producer to Name a few!
The Label's focus on promoting local talent has helped to create a thriving music scene around the world, as we are a Global Label based in Adelaide, Australia, with many artists gaining recognition and success through the label's support. The label has also collaborated with other local music organizations, such as Global Empire Ent Media, Awards Shows, Bossladys Radio Show, Blunt Conversations Podcast & to further promote local talent and provide opportunities for artists to showcase their music & talent.
In addition to providing a platform for local artists, 25 to Life Records has also been instrumental in supporting and promoting social causes. The label & Magazine both Support Mental Health Awareness, Anxiety &; Depression.
Overall, 25 to Life Records has been a significant player in the underground music scene in Adelaide & Australia plus Across the World for Several Years now, providing a platform for local and international talent and promoting social causes, Music, Culture, Fashion, Lifestyle.
