My biggest tip for creating VALUABLE content to market your business is to PLAN it out in advance. 👊🏼 This goes for social media posts, blog posts, videos and any other content that helps get the word out about what you do. Trying to create content on the fly never ends up working because....well, life just gets in the way and before you know it it's time for bed.

Now TikTok is up and coming.

Algorithm changes, new rules, different features, millions of apps. The list of changes goes on and on and on.
Social media can make your head spin because it’s constantly changing and as a content creator or a business owner, you have to keep up with those changes.

2020 is right around the corner, and I don't know about you..... but I find it fascinating that we'll be referring to the decade to come as "the '20s". 🤯

Influencer Marketing in the 20s...

Think about these three advertising channels:
TV.
Print.
Facebook.

Each is different, but they're built on a simple premise: Relevant Audience.
Pretty basic. You wouldn't advertise in a magazine if your audience weren't there. Same with TV. Facebook built its entire business on this fact.
Surprisingly though... most brands don't treat influencer marketing this way.
Reaching the right audience might be common sense, but it isn't common practice.

So, my advice is two-fold:
1. Have an audience-first approach to influencer marketing, always. It doesn't matter what you say if you're speaking to the wrong audience. Define your audience, then use this definition as a filter and criteria for who should and shouldn't, be considered for a collaboration.
2. Use a tool (or ask creators to share their audience insights) to assure that you're not relying on guesswork when it comes to finding influencers that have your audience.
