21st May was celebrated as International Tea Day. Assam is famous for its tea production. This week's video is my tribute towards those who formed the Tea Industry of Assam- Its workers and labourers . With their sweat and blood, Assam's tea industry is one of the top producers of tea. But let's look back and dive into the periods of forced and indentured labour and atrocities faced by the community, because of whom Assam's tea industry flourised.
