Do you feel yourself looking at your competitors often?!

We’re all guilty of it. We think we’re not doing as well as they are. We compare our businesses to theirs (only from what we see on social media)

But here’s your reminder- YOU are your biggest competition.

Stop comparing yourself to others. You don’t truly know what they are going through- how their business is doing and so much more.

Keep doing what you do best & your business will shine! 🌟

👋 Hi, everyone! To those just joining, I'm Anne. I started RDC out of my kitchen in Nov 2019 when my daughter was 6m and my son was 3 yrs old​​​​​​​​​🍪 As a SAHM in the 'burbs I missed having a creative outlet as much as I missed the big, gooey, chocolate chunk cookies in Chicago and NYC, where I used to live. I mail-ordered cookies from old haunts but was disappointed they'd compromised on ingredients like using fake butter or imitation vanilla extract, or no vanilla at all. After perfecting my OG recipe, I got my commercial kitchen licenses, took a photography course, and built my first website armed with nothing but Google and an insatiable drive to create a national cookie brand made with premium ingredients--no compromises. Today we ship to all 50 states and deliver locally + offer pickup and walk-ins at our storefront at 21 Isaacs Street Norwalk Tues, Fri + Sat 11-4. We donate a portion of sales to some great orgs that share our values: we are pro-human rights, pro-women empowerment, pro-integrity and kindness. It's really that simple​​​​​​​​​
🍪 My mom always called me her Rebel Daughter growing up, and the name felt appropriate bootstrapping a cookie company with 2 young kids when so many people tried to discourage me. I'd finally found my passion and good luck to anyone trying to stop me
🍪 I create all my own recipes through trial + error, inspired by childhood memories and adult flavor profiles. Creative integrity is a core value of RDC, meaning everything I create comes from my own imagination
🍪 I never really "fit in" which is part of what sets us apart. We think life's too short to take onesself too seriously, so if you stick around, you'll see us acting pretty goofy for own entertainment as much as yours

And remember: COOKIES BELONG IN BOXES. Not People.™️ Unless, of course, you visit in NYC by (which was amazing, highly recommend) then of course you need this photo op 😉

Any other HOT messes out there?!

We may look like we have it all together but we’re just over here trying to figure it all out!

I (Jen) recently attended my first Summit with .who.wins. I had so many takeaways from the conference but this quote stuck with me the most.

Social media paints this “perfect” picture sometimes. But this is a reminder we’re all just trying to do our best.

We’ve all been through something that no one knows about, but by you sharing your story & your messages you can make someone else feel no as alone!

Share your story- remind others no one is perfect! We all have something to bring to the table 🤍

What comes with deciding to be great & making a change in your life- also comes with challenges most people don’t have to face.

Want to know the best part? The road less traveled has no speed limit! You can go as fast or as slow as you’d like.

Don’t compare your chapter one to someone else’s chapter 20!

Jen here- I started my business because I loved hosting events but found myself always asking my guests if I could get them a cocktail or making them a drink and I never got to enjoy my own events.

I felt of this was a problem for me- it must be a problem for others.

Find how you can help others with your product or service & you will find success!

Don’t try to show up as someone you’re not, people want the real YOU!

Your client’s & customers want to find a connection where they feel comfortable working with you.

They will buy YOU over your competitors any day!

Build the relationship then make the sale! 🙌🏼

Who doesn’t want to LOVE the vendors they select! It honestly makes the event so much easier for everyone.

Building a connection with your clients & network is the most important aspect as a business owner!
