BAMPIRE is a feature-length horror comedy featuring live action performances, hand-drawn animation, practical gore and claymation! The movie is currently in post-production, aiming for an October 2024 release.

“This is arguably the most insane movie to produce at our budget level, but we’re doing it!” — Zöe Wassman, Writer and Producer

Sliding-scale donations accepted at the door, but no one turned away. ALL PROCEEDS go towards BAMPIRE post-production costs. We hope to see you there!

Female Eugene Movie Makers is a membership group developed to support and empower local women in film.

Thank you for joining! This public Friends of FEMM (Female Eugene Movie Makers) page is open to all gender identities, our friends, allies and affiliates in our beloved film community who wish to help FEMM’s goals. ❤️

FEMM, as an affiliate, aims to incubate more opportunities for intersectional females and women, including trans, who have a wish to be involved in any aspect of filmmaking.

FEMM values inclusivity, freedom of expression, community and collaboration. Any form of abuse or hate will not be tolerated.

FEMM sees the need for organizing to advocate for and develop expanded representation of women in film, both in front of and behind the camera. We want to see scripts written and produced for women of all ages and abilities. We want to see stories of minority women and marginalized females make it to the screen. We want to see more women with technical abilities producing movies. In fact one of our first goals is to seek out grants and scholarships for women in film; eventually developing a scholarship program of our own. Several currently exist, including an Oregon State Grant for female filmmakers.

FEMM also recognizes that folks under a diverse umbrella of “women in film” are not the only group traditionally marginalized and seek to communicate with, support and collaborate with all friends with traditionally marginalized identities in film as well as with our broader film communities and affiliates.

Both this public Friends of FEMM page and a private FEMM group are in development and linked below in comments.

*There is also a private FEMM group specifically open to female-identifying folks, women from any background including transgender, and folks who have ever lived an experience of being a woman in film who wish to join (linked in comments).

Thank you for your support of FEMM! ❤️
