We are seeking a multilingual, multicultural voiceover cast for our new audiodrama. Please include your knowledge of additional accents and languages, if applicable. We are especially looking for Spanish, Spanish, , , , and language competency.

For fans of "The Diplomat", "The X-Files", and "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?", "Project Borderless" (No, that’s not the real title. That’s classified for now) follows the story of two siblings pulled unwillingly into the realm of global espionage when their sister goes AWOL from the CIA to track down the source of a mysterious sound which has plagued spies, diplomats, and military officers around the world.

"The Ortiz Twins" production team is proud to support Tenants and Workers United - Inquilinos y Trabajadores Unidos during our premiere this Saturday, February 24! TWU is a nonprofit and advocacy group organizing low-income communities of color in Northern Virginia. "The Ortiz Twins" is a story by and for our Latin American siblings and communities, and we believe it is important to invite that community in to celebrate independent storytelling.

5% of our silent auction proceeds will go directly to TWU. We invite you to join our multilingual, multicultural event to help us fund the full series run as well as to support the important work of TWU.

Enjoy an exclusive performance by acclaimed local artist Arma Dura on Sat 2/24 in Alexandria, Virginia, as they explore themes of migration and the longing for home before the world premiere of the fantasy audio drama "The Ortiz Twins Are Coming Home".

Armando Lopez-Bircann (Arma Dura) is an XR (extended reality) artist based in Washington DC that designs digital/physical wearables with a genderfluid, Latinx, Q***r Ecofeminist lens.

Armando Lopez-Bircann is a Latinx artist that engineers wearable sculptures, digital media and performances. Their Extended Reality (XR) practice is framed by immigrant narratives, genderfluid expression, digital native sensibilities and a Q***r Ecofeminist lens. They work as an independent artist and have also designed works in collaboration with dancers, circus performers, photographers, videographers, musicians and other artists. They are based in Washington DC. Notable accomplishments include an Artist Talk at the Hirshhorn Museum, being a DC Commission of Arts and Humanities fellow, and a Wherewithal Research Grant recipient. They graduated from Concordia University and the Corcoran College of Art + Design.

Deb Edattel is the sound magician behind THE ORTIZ TWINS ARE COMING HOME. Deborah Edattel is a sound engineer, co-owner of Double Sharp Audio and (volunteer) broadcast engineer at WERA-FM 96.7 (Arlington Independent Media). She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and attained her Master's Degree in Audio Technology at American University in Washington, D.C. Deb specializes in sound design for film and podcasts and recording audio books and local musicians. One of her favorite pastimes is squishing cantaloupes and crushing egg shells next to microphones (Foley effects).

Lisette Alvarez and Whitney Johnson are the executive producers of THE ORTIZ TWINS ARE COMING HOME and are so excited to bring this story to life!

Lisette is also the director for The Ortiz Twins. After a decade of experience as a multimedia storyteller, Lisette Alvarez founded Stormfire Productions in 2019. Lisette wrote and produced the company’s award-winning flagship show "Kalila Stormfire’s Economical Magick Services".

Whitney is also the script editor for The Ortiz Twins. Whitney is a trained performer, writer, and historian. As a developmental editor, she has worked on novels, short stories, poetry chapbooks, and scripts, offering guidance at all stages of the creative process.

Andrew Siañez-De La O is a Mexican-American writer and game developer based in Baltimore, MD whose work often centers the culture of the Borderlands and his diasporic identity through myths and monsters. With a reverence for sci-fi and fantasy, Andrew has collaborated on projects across multiple genres and mediums and continues to use their skills to help bring under-represented narratives to life.
