Marist Fashion's Silver Needle Runway Since 1984, Silver Needle Runway has become the premier student-produced fashion show powered by the globally renowned Marist Fashion program.

The runway features garments designed and realized by the senior Fashion Design students. SNR looks to support the next generation of leaders in the fashion and creative industries. Most recently, SNR has been featured in national and international fashion publications including, fashionista.com and Marie Claire Italia. After their junior year, the design students are asked to come up with concepts they present to the professors. The professors help them pick which concept is strongest and develop the next steps. They help guide the students in every aspect of the creative process from Summer to Spring.

Meet Senior Design Professor Patrick Boylan and how he is mentoring the senior design students in their collections! This fall semester, the senior design students have begun their creative process in making the garments that will walk the runway. The professors help guide them throughout their journey giving advice and feedback to help fulfill the student’s visions.

Meet the SNR39 Directors: Chloe is the Production Model Director for the Production Team. Her role is to organize model casting for lookbook, virtual shoot, and the in-person show. She creates the makeup and hair look, as well as handling the volunteers. 🪡✨

Meet the SNR39 Directors: Lena is the Branding Logistics Director for the Branding Team. Her role is to plan and organize all events leading up to this show! This includes Fashion Fest, Payne Mansion, & our launch event. Also, she is in charge of obtaining all sponsorships.

Meet the SNR39 Directors: Ashley is the Digital Branding Director. Her roles include creating merchandise, digital marketing, and executing the lookbook 🪡✨

Meet the SNR39 Directors: Blythe is the Communications Director for the Communications Team. She is in charge of organizing day of show seating and handling VIP guests. Her team writes op-eds, blog posts, and hosts the podcast! ✨🪡

Meet the SNR39 Directors: Madi is the Social Media & Website Director for the Communications Team. Her role includes being in charge of all social media platforms, creating and editing videos, conducting designer interviews, and doing influencer outreach. 🪡✨
