More rain and the first snow!

Expect snowfall in both southern and northern California. This means that ski resorts are close to opening and the fun will begin for the winter season recreations. With this being a pro there comes the con of costly highway accidents on the roads because of the heavy rain. The storm conditions are expected to last through next weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving, but be aware of the traffic you may be up against for the travel plans...

According to Theweatherchannel.com Wednesday afternoons and evenings are expected to be the busiest time on the roads for certain parts of California. This isn't the most shocking news since Holiday travel is always a hit or miss with expected durations, but the hazardous road conditions may be worse with storms expected to hit California and other parts of the country.
The storms along the coast in California will bring downpours of rain and wind. Moving inward the likely hood of ice and snow in the mountains will bring the worst traffic to the metropolitan areas in the country. This breaking weather news for the upcoming holidays shares importance with the scientific news and environment in our lives.
