I give you, Glass. This is my first music with my new Komplete Kontrol keyboard. For this song, I started with... a glass of whisky. Not in the drinking sense. Well, also in the drinking sense, but, part of the percussion of the music is, actually, a glass of whisky full of ice being gently agitated. That was my whole starting point.
The last thing I created was the main line. That is me singing there. Not once, but, actually, three times. One over another, to give this echoing impression. The lyrics are based on a classic poem by John Keits about melancholy - which, I thought would go well with the glass. A little bit of blue and a little bit of booze are always good, as long as in moderation.
