The reality is more nuanced for the crew of youn

g creatives and DJs running a fledgling label and experimental club nights in Shanghai. Their most recent release, Fushigi, features glitched, airy synths with hyperactive vocals from Golin—an artist living in Belgium, trained in the U.S., who sings in Japanese. This kind of mix of identities and styles feels like the one throughline for Genome’s releases. While primarily on the darker, clubbier end of the spectrum, they venture into ambient textures on last year’s label comp, Self Salvation. Founded in early 2016 in Shanghai, Genome 6.66 Mbp has gained a powerful reputation both inside of China and internationally. Starting out with a thrilling 18-track compilation featuring local and international producers such as Swan Meat, Shyqa, Yosh*taka Hikawa and Dirty K, Genome 6.66 Mbp has followed up with some of the freshest-sounding releases today, including a collaboration between Ju ca and Yosh*taka Hikawa, RUI HO’s debut single, jointly released with Berlin Community Radio, and a mesmerising, genre-bending EP by Australian producer/vocalist Wa?ste. Genome 6.66 Mbp also runs a regular Genome party in Shanghai, aiming to bring in some of the most innovative and exciting musicians around the world to China. New Baihui radio guest mix from one of most exciting new gen represents in Vietname - .ng

Yasmin is a DJ from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) Vietnam. Born in the 2000s - a flourishing era of electronic music that greatly influenced her musical style. Living with her father who is a guitarist and her mother who has a true passion for music has given her a strong inspiration. Music is a pivot in her life, helping her overcome the “teen crisis” as well as shaping her personality and her way of thinking. Her early days of exposure to electronic music and DJ-ing, Indie Dance, Techno, and House captivated her with uplifting melodies.
Later on, she wants to break her boundaries by exploring and trying out many different genres such as Trance,Dark Disco, Electronica, Drum and Bass,...

Overall, her sets always aim to release human emotions, which can be said to be an emotional journey that leaves the audience lost in a story composed of melodies, and there is no consistency in the genre of music she plays. Yasmin has played at prominent domestic events and parties and also made a special mark internationally such as in Bangkok (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur, Penang (Malaysia)...etc

OUT NOW: – algún día me separaré de mis amigas

“algún día me separaré de mis amigas”translates as “someday i’ll part from my friends,” taken from the anime series Hibike! Euphonium. The album is a collage of identities crossed by slice-of-life anime references, sampled voice messages, dembow rhythms, string arrangements, and Chilean-rooted sonic sensibilities. In these songs, the lullaby-like vocal melodies and playful, pastel-colored soundscapes, contrast with anthï’s lyrical reflections on subjects such as trauma, failed connections, isolation and gender identity.

As stewing chaos in a quiet pot of flesh, PH00000NG channels that energy into demonstrating their inner world with kindred mutation, humility in-between the north-east-south-west alchemical compass.

Since their first I-R-L debut at Snug, Savage Hanoi in 2021, versatility has brought the now Saigon-based DJ to join an exuberant, multifaceted movement. Spawned by a new generation of Vietnamese electronic music enthusiasts - of both newcomers and experienced selectors. Being right amidst to the youthquaking attitude of their communities, Nyjah has repeatedly found themselves behind the decks, on the front, producer, organizer to faithful attendee, everywhere all at once at Gãy, VẤP CỤC ĐÁ, Arcan, and anywhere that welcomes them. Born in Venice and now located in Milan, Nahshi is an Italian DJ / producer who’s been incorporating diverse influences in his peculiar, hybrid take on club music, ranging from industrial 100 BPM beats to the shattering sounds of contemporary software-based, pop-infused electronic music. Nahshi’s sets closely relate to his quest for an explosive, ever-evolving dancefloor experience that brings together Slowstyle and the nastiest digital sound explorations.

The mix is basically an experiment of mine about looping, frequencies, rhythms and goofy melodies, playing with Lento Violento elements and Vocaloid samples.

Since the tracks were purposely made in a really short period of time, leaving space for randomness and imperfection, I like to think about this mix more as a recording of a live-improvised set rather than a normal DJ mix.
