We are up and at it early this morning because we are super stoked to be going to our first “pota meetup”! We’ll be at Tallahassee-St Marks Historic Railroad K-3661. We have no idea what frequency or band we’ll be using or how it’s going to be set up… We are just going with the flow and happy to get to go!

In case y’all didn’t know, Keylime pie from Publix is synonymous with summer in Florida….. and when coupled with some POTA makes for a super awesome Saturday! Jason and I headed out to the St. Marks Lighthouse and we did a fast and fun activation.

We did it again and it was SUPER fun! Wakulla Springs was gorgeous as always and it was normal Florida weather….a little rain shower followed by blazing sun. Huge thank you to all our radio friends that reached out and helped make it happen….and put up with me (Katie) and all the fumbling along the way! Jason is cool, calm and collected per usual. I might need hearing aids so I can get all the info in one smooth transmission. I get a little mic fright, I think! 😂🩷
