About us

BLOSSOM is a concept zine fundraising money for Glasgow Women’s Aid - charity organization which since 35 years supports victims of domestic abuse (http://www.glasgowwomensaid.org.uk) . It is a collaborative work of different artists contributing for one cause.

BLOSSOM is focusing on female empowerment, breaking stereotypes of masculinity and femininity and rising awareness on the issue of abuse. With embracing the strength of women, even in face of adversity, we resonate with Glasgow Women’s Aid’s work. This does not exclude those who identify as agender, bigender, cisgender, gender fluid, non-binary or tr*******al, as we each experience our own individual struggles in this world fraught with violence. However this world is also full of love, tolerance, and hope. And it is through this lens that we created BLOSSOM, a celebration of people’s fortitude, their ability to thrive and grow even in times of woe.
