LARA DELMAGE & MARIA JELEŃSKA, the creative team behind Blossom Zine will be joining us to talk about creating the concept zine that is raising money for Glasgow Women's Aid.

Blossom Zine is "a celebration of people’s fortitude, their ability to thrive and grow even in times of woe."

We will have some copies available for you to buy at the end of the night. All proceeds go towards Glasgow Women's Aid.

Get Lippy will invite a special guest to talk about the interesting and incredible work they are doing in Glasgow to empower womxn. Prepare to be inspired and astounded by the things people do every day. Let's support and celebrate each other's greatness!

If you couldn't make it but you would still want to donate to amazing work of Glasgow Women's Aid and help us reach our fundraising goal you can donate in the link. Even the smallest amount can help in:
-purchasing education materials for children in refuge,
-providing an emergency backpack for a woman fleeing her home due to domestic abuse,
-funding a session with a therapist for a victim of domestic abuse

FRIENDLY REMINDER OF THE BLOSSOM ZINE OPEN CALL - DEDLINE 5TH DECEMBER! 🌺🌺

Blossom zine is being curated and created in order to represent and raise money for Glasgow Womens Aid - a charity providing support and refuge for women and children who are suffering from domestic abuse.

We're looking for artists of all kind to collaboratively create a zine that resonates with their feminist philosophy. We want to break the traditional concept of blossoming connected to fragility. While embracing the strength of women, even in face of adversity, we resonate with Glasgow Women’s Aid’s work. By encouraging to break the stereotypes of femininity and masculinity we try to show that there are so many different types of flowers. Let’s keep on blossoming.
