So after some long consideration, I have decided I will be returning to YouTube starting at the first of the year. A lot of life has happened in the last year and after weighing my choices, I've chose to go after this with a new mindset. Videos won't be on a schedule quite yet and we will experiment as we go with what kind of content and what games we plan to cover. I appreciate anyone who stood by and figured I would let you know, I'm coming back!

The current realization that Destiny 2 is going to be dropped by Bungie in the next few years has woke me up to something I didn't know about myself and why I play video games like I do. I've been chasing that 2007 Halo 3 feel for years now. Following Bungie around, getting invested in their games until they leave them in the dust for the next project. Sure their are other games that I've enjoyed over the years but Halo is why I play. Those memories from Halo and Early Destiny is why I've came back to these games for 1000s of hours and still play both today. I really hope project matter is just as big for bungie because honestly, if they let Destiny die and Matter doesn't fill that void, I'll probably lose my passion for gaming again. Just like I did when they abandoned Halo.
I hate Sunsetting in Destiny. I don't think Bungie can change my mind. This seasons sandbox would be 10x more enjoyable if we had access to the other weapons that had been sunset.

Going into the Outriders beta tonight and probably going to go over my first impressions in a video. Finally wrapping up most of the games I picked up over the last few months and we'll be right back at it.
So hopped on Spellbreak for the Chapter 1 update and holy s**t, it runs horribly. I was dropping 20 to 30 frame in fights on the One X. Rip anyone on console that doesn't have next gen yet.
I'm only halfway through and I'm throughly convinced Immortals: Fenyx Rising is one of the best Ubisoft games in the last decade. An absolute MUST PLAY this year. It might even be my personal Game of the Year.
Alright, so AC Valhalla is such an awkward title. It has one of the best Storylines of any recent Assassins Creed but falls short in everything else. I disliked origins and I dislike Valhalla for the same reasons. They try to be 2 games at once instead of just full diving in one or another. It tries to walk a line between traditional AC and the new Open World RPG ACs. Odyssey was a success in my book and I loved the game for what it was. I agree it wasn't a good "Assassins Creed" game but it was a GREAT RPG. They shot for one thing and they nailed it. Valhalla to me, as someone who wanted to see Odyssey built upon, was a major let down. And I don't think its traditional AC portions are big enough to entice the veteran players to return either. I wouldn't say it's a bad game, but its only a little better than origins. Odyssey is still the king of the new age ACs.
Its the best time of the year and we'll be enjoying it like always. Of course this means spellbreak will fall to the wayside for a little bit but we'll come back as soon as we have new content.
