Herbold needed to go a long time ago. Allegedly, she lives at her husband’s home in North Bend, where it’s been reported that she’s been seen coming and going. And again, allegedly, she’s been seen in Issaquah conducting personal business too. Let me repeat.... allegedly. But that might all explain her less than useful actions in Seattle. Maybe she should just stay home over on Eastside up near the forest and quit using her West Seattle address as a prop. She can just as easily make her dream catchers, and candles outside of Issaquah.

I'm very aware that most of you visit this space in order to be reminded that people are good, and that human beings are remarkable creatures. Those stories will continue. I believe they are important.
Having said that, I'd give anything if this show wasn't necessary.
But anyone who lives in Seattle knows deep down that it is.
I love this place and I refuse to give up on it. And so we will look at the policies and philosophies that have brought the most spectacular city in America to its knees. The suffering, the neglect, the phony compassion...
I took no joy from putting it together.
There will be those who tell you this show is something that it is not. It will be politicized. Used. I ask only that you watch it through and form your own opinion.

BREAKING: Recall effort to oust Socialist Seattle City Councilwoman Kshama Sawant can proceed to signature gathering phase. Court finds 4 of 6 accusations brought forth represent "substantial conduct clearly amounting to misfeasance, malfeasance, or a violation of the oath of office" for which there is "no legal justification." Those accusations are as follows:

-Sawant relinquished duties of office to outside political organization

-Sawant misused city resources to promote a ballot initiative

-Sawant abused her position by letting protesters into City Hall after hours

-Sawant led a protest to Mayor Jenny Durkan's house despite it being protected by a state program due to threats from her time as a U.S. Attorney.
