Pippa Rann Books & Media inspires Indians,
as well as non-Indians interested in India,

celebrated on January the 26th each year,
as India's Republic Day.
The latest edition of the “Yearbook of Indian Poetry in English”, as you probably know by now, has just been finalised.
It has 136 poems from 132 contributors.
And that edition is due for publication by Pippa Rann Books in September this year.

The Yearbook of Indian Poetry in English -
The three issues of the annual Yearbook so far been published have carried a selection of work published in the relevant year by poets of Indian origin, wherever in the world they happen to live.
Congratulations to all those wonderful poets who have been selected for this edition!
The Editors:
Sukrita Paul Kumar is a multi-award-winning poet, scholar, critic, and author. A former Fellow of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla, and holder of the Aruna Asaf Ali Chair at Delhi University, she is series co-editor of the “Writer in Context” series published by Routledge UK and South Asia, and the Guest Editor of Indian Literature, the journal of the Sahitya Akademi (Indian Academy of Letters).
Vinita Agrawal has authored five books of poetry, and won the Proverse prize, the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize and the Gayatri GaMarsh Memorial Award for Literary Excellence, USA. She is on the Advisory Board of the Tagore Literary Prize, Co-chair for the Global Council for Excellence for Environment and Sustainability, and one of the twenty poets to be featured in a Taiwanese documentary on Asian poets, Deepest Uprising.
The Yearbook of Indian Poetry in English which has been published so far by Hawakal Press, India, is to be published from 2024 by Pippa Rann Books. Release Date: Indian paperback: 12 Sept 2024. Will be available on Amazon, online & in all good book shops.

Today’s news, we are delighted that one of author’s, Dr Andrea Nelson Trice has been asked to speak at 12th Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development on the topic, “Utilizing Our Cultural Differences to Attain Sustainable Solutions.”
The conference will be hosted by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Global Association of the Master’s in Development Practice Programs, from 19 to 21 September 2024.

A warm and wonderful literary evening yesterday at Waterstones in Piccadilly, organised and hosted by Bridge India where we heard from Sanjoy Roy who is part of one the greatest international book festivals, the Jaipur Literature Festival.
