From the 1950's into the 1970's, L*D was studied as a treatment for anxiety, depression, psychosomatic diseases and addiction. Though it has taken several decades for the interest in L*D research to truly resurface, there is hope its true potential can be examined and explored under contemporary standards of testing.

While we protect our minds from the dirty feet of others, we often forget to wash the feet that reside in our minds the most: our own. Microdosing can be like a bar of soap that cleans the dirt off of our toes and allows us to run free and operate in the cleanliness of our mind.

Picture in your mind science and spirituality on the opposite sides of a triangle. At the base, they couldn’t be further apart. As we move forward, however, they come closer and closer together.

As many of the brightest minds in medicine and psychology continue to study the effects of psychedelics, continued descriptions among subjects in clinical trials point to enhanced feelings of peace, harmony, and new perspectives on their own spirituality. When the lines connect at the top of the triangle, will science and spirituality ultimately merge together?

The hardest part about making necessary changes is breaking our habits and taking the first step. Alan Watts reminds us that change is a constant. It is always happening, whether we want it or not, and we should embrace change and not resist it to get the most out of life.

Hallucinogen use began skyrocketing in 2020, according to a Monitoring the Future (MTF) survey.

8% of young adults reported past-year hallucinogen use in 2021, becoming an all-time high since they first collected subject data in 1988. For comparison, in 2016, 5% of young adults reported past-year hallucinogen use.

With increased media coverage and information accessibility on microdosing and psychedelic-assisted therapies, that number will seemingly only increase in years to come.

While we aim to raise awareness about the benefits surrounding microdosing and psychedelic-assisted therapies, we understand that psychedelics are not always the best course of action. Along with being illegal substances in the vast majority of places, studies have shown that around one-third of people with mental health conditions do not respond to psychedelic treatments (via Healthline). Before committing, please take the time to do proper research on if it is a right fit for you. If you need urgent help, please contact emergency services or your personal healthcare provider.

"Just a pinch" can be the difference between chaos and calmness. "Just a pinch" can open the doorway to new realms of creativity. "Just a pinch" can help us rediscover pieces of ourselves we once thought lost.

This quote is the origin story of the word "psychedelic," as it was used by Dr. Humphry Osmond in a letter to Aldous Huxley. Psyche, from the Greek psykhe, means “the soul, mind, spirit, or invisible animating entity which occupies the physical body.” Delic, from dēlos, means "to reveal or make visible."

Our perception of the world around us can hinder our progress through the inner-journey. Here are four things you can do to help correct the course:

🔸Be present. Don't let your past affect your future. Focus on experiencing the "now."

🔸Be passionate. If you don't have passion, you can't feel passion. Discover what makes you tick and what motivates you. Set aside time every day to focus on it.

🔸Give love. There's a reason most people agree that giving feels better than receiving. Set an intent to treat yourself, the people around you, and the world you live in with an abundance of love.

🔸Be open to learning. Take a moment to learn why you feel the way that you do. Try to understand how what you're going through, whether it be good or bad, can shape and benefit who you will become.

Walking through life with an open mind is crucial to our personal and spiritual growth. An open mind means getting out of your comfort zone and practicing mindfulness. It's understanding that growth doesn't have a finish line and is a constant, ongoing effort to better ourselves. It's visualizing who you want to be, treating yourself with respect, and realizing that reaching your full potential will require you to challenge your own beliefs.

“Creativity is the process of bringing something new into being. Creativity requires passion and commitment. It brings to our awareness what was previously hidden and points to new life. The experience is one of heightened consciousness: ecstasy.”
