6 weeks ago, we were approached by Nicole and Charlotte of to take over their full-service social management. But from the very first time we sat down together, we knew that the brand as it was then, didn’t represent who they were or where they were going.

We asked them to hit pause and trust us to strip Engage back to its core and rebuild the brand to be something that try showcased who they really are.

We took a ‘typical’ recruitment aesthetic and turned it into a powerful, energetic, fierce brand that showcases their passion and dedication to their clients and their own team.

We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, and look forward to continuing to work with as we now drive their brand new social strategy out into the world! 🤝

AMEN 🙏🏻

It's difficult not to be hard on yourself when you feel like you should be doing more in your business as it grows. Suddenly, when you stop receiving your guaranteed paycheck at the end of the month as an employee, you feel more pressure to make every second of the day count, more so if you're paying other people too. But, building something isn't easy! If it was, then you know how the cliché goes… everyone would do it.

Over the last 6 months, I've definitely been guilty of giving myself a hard time if my focus has been off, juggling everything can be tough and navigating that is not a simple task, I've definitely got it wrong at times.

There's a saying I like that goes "you can't pour from an empty cup", and whilst I think "balance" is a relatively impossible thing to achieve as a business owner, it's important to find ways to look after yourself whilst also growing your business. You don't want to burnout and make all of your hard work redundant!

Be present in the moment.
Show up consistently everyday.
Find moments to be slow.
Believe in what you are building.

👉🏼 Strategies can take a little while to implement. There's lots of BTS work that goes into creating a great strategy, we want to make sure that you achieve the best results for your business so try not to rush the process if you can help it (we know it's hard not to be excited to get started!).

👉🏼 Results don't happen overnight! We know that you've probably seen a thousand "how to go viral posts" floating around but we're sorry to break it to you that there is no cheat code (we wish there was too🥺). The only real way to see meaningful and impactful results that will truly benefit your business is to put in the work and build you a loyal community that love what you are about.

👉🏼 Trust goes a long long way! Your SMM or agency will be working tirelessly behind the scenes monitoring trends, industry updates and changes to content ranking to ensure they are always ahead of the curve with your content strategy. When they ask you for quick approval on an ad-hock post, trust that they know what they're doing and if you sleep on it, you might miss the boat!

👉🏼 Initially, there will be lots of testing! It can take a while to figure out what your audience want to hear/see from you. Results are monitored closely so that we can see what is or isn't working and adapt where necessary. Post, review, pivot, post... you get the picture.

This mistake is stunting you Instagram growth ❌⬇️

If you still think that a hard sell is the best way to convert your customer/audience to buy into the product or service you're offering, we're sorry to break it to you but you are wrong 🥴

Social media is not the place to sell sell sell, it's the place to build credibility, develop trust and nurture long-lasting relationships with your audience. Of course, you have a product/service to sell, we get it but we promise your audience will stick around far longer if you offer them consistent value over the sale of a single product/service.

Focus less on pushing your product/service and more on how you can use your platform and content to make your customers feel something - the sale will come after!

This beautiful little human, is my now 6 year old son, and my reason why.

His big heart and even bigger dreams are the reason I show up every single day. I am the example that he will grow up watching and it is my responsibility to make sure that I am the very best one for him.
