A fun and unexpected dichotomy in all the best ways. The day leaned into a West Coast cowboy aesthetic—easygoing, sun-soaked, and full of character—before transforming into full Hollywood glamour by night. Fabulous dancers, a beautifully tented dinner at the Rosewood Miramar, and an evening that felt both elevated and effortlessly fun!

Day 1 at ✨

The day began with gifting!! An incredibly thoughtful welcome featuring beautiful pieces from local Santa Barbara vendors- setting the tone for what was to come. We spent the afternoon soaking in perspective, passion, and intentionality from inspiring speakers! The day ended with a vibrant fiesta complete with salsa dancers, beer burros, and an unforgettable celebration of culture and community. I left feeling incredibly grateful and excited for all that followed🤍

About LCF

Hi, I’m Lucy! I’ve been recording memories with my camera since I was a little girl. I am a Kansas grown college student living in Lawrence, Ks. My passion for videography drives me creatively and gives me an outlet to love people and explore the world . Getting to serve my clients and celebrate abundant life stems from my love for Christ. I enjoy capturing His creation and joy through my lens. Creating films is what I feel I was born to do.

I am the youngest of four girls raised in Hutchinson, Kansas. Having only sisters is just as fun as it seems! I am so blessed to gain wisdom from each of them. I loved growing up in a small town and knowing every kid in my school by name. However, there were days where it seemed like there was nothing to do. This is where my love of videography was born! From the age of eight you could find me making short films on imovie all day long. Years later, I still have that passion. There have been so many incredible life moments for my family like the birth of my niece and nephew, traveling Europe, gender reveals etc, that have developed this from a passion to a business. The second I finished finished filming my first wedding, I knew this was what I was meant to do! I could not be more passionate about my dream job! I love capturing moments that create memories for a lifetime. It is priceless for me to know that these films will live on for generations not only for my family but for yours.

Today you could find me in the front row of any KU basketball game, the local library editing, or maybe at a bible study with my friends. I am the definition of a 3w2 on the enneagram. AKA I am very driven by my goals and I love relationships. I’m a sucker for a good rom-com, a day at Table Rock Lake, or going on a walk with my friends. I love chick-fil-a more than anyone I know and I’m a self proclaimed professional chocolate chip cookie maker- ask my family. I thrive in social situations but I can definitely appreciate my alone time. My love of people and relationships is what makes my job so special. Capturing peoples’ most precious memories for them to look back on for the years to come- talk about a dream job!!
