God reminded me this weekend that He doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called. He reminded me that a dream deferred is not a dream that has died. In His perfect timing He will position you. He will open doors for you. He will show you that you have always been made for more!

Thanks for blessing me with the opportunity to be in my first film project. 👏🏽✨ It’s an honor and privilege to work with such a talented amazing cast and crew! Thank you!!

This subject has been in my heart all week. For some this may not be easy to hear, but I care about our overall healing and feel that this needs to be shared. (while I am speaking to women in the video, the same message can be applied to men.) ✨🙏🏽💔

Healing through past trauma/heartbreak is so much easier said than done. It is a process that does not happen over night, but healing is possible. With that said, men AND women are in need of healing.

Society is great at reminding us women that we have been hurt. Let’s s start having more conversations about how we heal after being hurt. 👏🏽✨🔥 There is nothing like the healing that comes in Christ. I pray that no matter where you are in your faith journey that you would experience Gods love and that in his presence you would find fullness of joy and satisfaction for your soul.

Do not make the mistake of sharing your dreams with too many people. Sometimes the ones we would expect to be the most supportive are actually the most critical. If you aren’t careful. you’ll allow someone’s inability to see your vision to cause you to turn a blind eye to what God has shown you.

Don’t ever let anyone stop you from moving towards something God has put on your heart to do. You don’t need anyone’s approval if you already have Gods. This does not mean that you shouldn’t consider the perspective of trusted people in your life. They may have great advice to offer you. Just be sure that you are discerning the difference between someone that is trying to talk you out of something and someone who is trying to make sure you are prepared for something. There is a difference. Sometimes when people can’t understand your vision they will try to change your vision. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they don’t care about you. It just means they aren’t the ones that can currently support your dream.

The Lord will help you know who you can and can’t confide in. If you’re single with no kids this especially applies to you! This is your season when you do not have to consider the needs of your spouse, you are not responsible for the welfare of a child. This is your time to just go for it. Take that risk, make that big move, do things you’ve always wanted! 👏🏽✨

✨Wait on the Lord by Maverick City is blasting through the speakers of Haileys car as we make our way back home after Church. The song is a perfect match to the feelings currently coursing through me. The feeling, if it could be described, is like a sister to contentment and a friend to hope. I feel both peaceful and expectant. Eager and patient. I anticipate all God has but am ready to wait on Him until he says it is mine to hold.

While I look through this window at the overcast day, the skies of my soul are clearer than ever. I am on the cloud of contentment that only comes in Christ. A cloud that I often stray from, but always manage to find my way back to.☁️🌤☀️

This morning during worship the Lord touched my heart so deeply. I wept with joy as he flooded my mind with images of answered prayers and promises fulfilled.

For a moment I was no longer in church. I was not in New York or in a public space at all. There in that isle on my knees, I found myself deeply and intimately swept up into a posture of thanks giving . As I cried out to him, praise brought me into the courts of his all consuming company. I was with him In that secret place, where the fullness of joy dwells and where hope lives. I was in the precious presence of God.

He reminded me how far he has taken me and encouraged my soul to be still. He assured me that He hears all the prayers that I have prayed and that He knows all the needs of the people that I have laid before Him.

He whispered sweet somethings to my heart and soothed the aches of my anxious mind. He knows the thoughts that I have yet to conceive and has answers to the questions I have yet to ask. 🙏🏽✨He is a God who understands and who sees.

This morning God reminded me that. He is a God worth waiting on.✨👏🏽 Drop a comment if you are waiting on the Lord and expecting the great!

💫✨ H A P P Y N E W Y E A R ✨💫 2022 baybee 🔥💕🎉 Instead of resolutions I have a few declarations for 2022. What are some of yours?

1.✨ I will surrender to the Lord in new ways, trust him more, love him more and build his kingdom more.

2. ✨ I will not spend time focusing on things that I can’t control. Instead I will be still, pull my mind back to the present and know that he is God.

3. ✨ If God has told me yes, I do not need to worry about anyone else’s no.

4. ✨ I will accomplish things I doubted I could, love more than I ever have, go places I haven’t been and create memories I will never forget.

5. ✨ I will stop over-thinking and start over-believing. My faith will increase in Jesus name.

6. ✨ I will be a wise steward in all areas of my life.

7. ✨ God is my refuge and in him I can do all things. I will not allow my own understanding to place fake limitations on Him.

8. ✨ I will be more intentional in all areas of my life.

9. ✨ I will purposely step out of my comfort zone more often.

10. ✨ I will look back at the end of this year and be in awe of all that God has done.

💫H a p p y S u n d a y 💫
God taught me so many valuable lessons this year! I want to share some with you. My hope is that these lessons that encouraged me will do the same for you.

1. Loving someone harder doesn’t always mean they’ll love you better. It just means you’ll get better at loving others well and accepting when they aren’t able to do the same in return. ❤️

This year I started working with foster youth. I have been punched and spat on, hugged and praised. Mocked and teased, admired and trusted. I have also been blessed to walk alongside these awesome girls while they heal. Thanks to working in this field my God has expanded my capacity to love regardless of how I am being loved. God has given be deeper understanding of His love for us. I have learned in a new way how much better it is to give than receive. I am so thankful to serve a God who never fails to love us even when we fail to love him. As we learn to receive his love we will also learn how to give his love.

2. Surrender the outcome. 👏🏽
I think this is an ongoing lesson for everyone. Let go of your idea of how things should look, what needs to happen and what results you will get. Instead, focus on the process. Stay in the present and make decisions accordingly. This doesn’t mean that you can plan or have desired outcomes, but don’t get so attached to your own idea of what should happen that you lose sight of what is currently happening. That is a tactic of the enemy and he uses it to distract and deceive. If your mind wanders too far let that be an indicator that you’re trying to control things you have no control over. Take a step back and trust God with the outcomes.

3. You don’t have to walk through every open door. 🚪
Just because an opportunity is presented doesn’t mean it needs to be taken. You’ll have moments when you have to decide what door you will walk through and what door you’ll choose to close for yourself. Others won’t always understand why you turn certain things down, especially when money is involved, but that’s okay. So long as you are letting God guide you on what doors to walk though and you have peace about what on e you walked away from thats enough. 💫✌🏽

Reminiscing this morning on this sweet memory with my grandpa from about 2 years ago. It is crazy how fast time goes!

On this day we sat together on the porch of my gramps house in Toledo Ohio while he gave me advice and told me funny stories. He is always saying something funny, weird, wise or all the above. 😂

In this pic I think I was laughing so hard because he had just set up this crazy long story that didn’t make a whole lot of sense ( that is pretty common) 😂 By the end of it he asked me what you say when someone asks you for money.

When I said “I don’t know grandpa what do you say?” He took a long pause pointed his finger in the air and said, “you say…no!” 😂

While I do think it’s okay to help people out, I also appreciate the way he has taught me how to have boundaries. 😂 He is such a generous man and always willing to lend a helping hand. However, he is also just as quick to raise that same hand, point a finger and firmly say no. 😂It’s all about balance am I right? Lol

Even though you can hardly work his phone, let alone navigate social media, I know someone from the fam will show you this lol 😂 so whenever someone reads this to you grandpa just know how much I love you and miss you!
