Ever wondered what AMG could do with a Mazda MX-5?
Perhaps this: the Mercedes‑AMG PureSpeed concept.
"The radical design of a completely open, two-seater performance car without a roof or windscreen," says Mercedes-AMG.
But it does have an F1-style halo for rollover protection.
Apparently it's the first of a new series of 'Mythos' models, limited to just 250 cars, but there are no mechanical details.
Interested? How about this as a filter for customers:
"Only be available to the most dedicated Mercedes‑Benz enthusiasts and collectors. A unique driving machine for connoisseurs. It embodies the 'pinnacle of exclusivity' from Mercedes-Benz in the top segment."
It was unveiled at .... drum roll ... Monte Carlo in the lead-up to this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
