He did his job so well

Never one to utter fury

Was kind to total strangers

When that hotel
Came to a close

(It was more than sad)

We got the news

That we had lost Denis

To Trinidad

Not as the great accountant

We knew him to be

But a radio announcer

Over in T&T !

He always had this great knowledge

Of subjects
Deep and Wide

Whenever you met him
In those days

A book was by his side

He never lost the appetite

For always seeking knowledge

I was convinced

That he could have easily opened

Some kinda College !

He went on to CBC

He was the Voice

I do not know what happened

Ministry of Health and Wellness Invites Persons to be Trained as swabbers at COVID-19 Testing Sites

The Ministry of Health and Wellness is offering training for persons interested in working as Healthcare Personnel designated to carry out swab testing at COVID-19 testing sites.

This training programme is a part of the Ministry’s attempt to support wider COVID-19 swab testing efforts, particularly with the need to respond to the current surge in cases.

Persons interested in being trained must have proof of valid CPR or First Aid Certification and have an interest in working in the health care setting.

Expressions of interest with proof of the required certification should be emailed to [email protected].
