Honoring Those Who Invested in You
(Especially Your Parents)
============================================

Parents, who have invested their all in raising and nurturing you, deserve the highest honor and respect. It is essential not to let anyone lead you into dishonoring them. Many today prefer to honor spiritual fathers or mentors above their own parents. While spiritual mentors have their place, it does not diminish the irreplaceable role and honor due to your parents.

Honoring Your Parents is a Biblical Mandate
======================================
Ephesians 6:2-3 (NIV) instructs:
"Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise—"so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."

Honoring your parents is not just a cultural expectation; it is a divine commandment with a promise of blessings. This honor should be shown through respect, care, and gratitude.

The Role of Spiritual Fathers and Mentors
==================================
While spiritual fathers and mentors play crucial roles in guiding and nurturing your spiritual growth, it is vital to understand that this does not replace the honor and respect owed to your biological parents. Each has their unique place and role in your life.

1 Timothy 5:17 (NIV) states:
"The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching."

Spiritual leaders deserve respect and honor, but this should never come at the expense of dishonoring your parents.

Avoiding Parental Dishonor
=======================
Exodus 20:12 (NIV) emphasizes:
"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."

Dishonoring parents can have far-reaching negative consequences. It can lead to familial strife and can set a negative example for future generations. Mothers should not encourage children to dishonor their fathers, and fathers should likewise ensure they are not fostering disrespect and dishonor towards mothers. Encouraging dishonor is misleading and plants seeds of discord that will yield a bitter harvest.

Setting a Positive Example

Parents should endeavour to model the behavior they wish to see in their children. Because such encouragement fosters a healthy family dynamic and aligns with God’s commandments.

Proverbs 22:6 (NIV) instructs:
"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."

A Call to Reflection and Repentance
==============================
If you find that you have been led to dishonor your parents, it is not too late to repent and make amends. Reflect on your actions, seek forgiveness, and strive to restore honor to your parents. God values repentance and a heart that seeks to align with His will.

PROPHETIC ALERT!!!
THE SEASON OF GREAT REVIVAL IS HERE.

The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. For a long time now, God has watched the prophetic ridiculed and perverted into the testimonies of self and mammon. This is the season of the great revival. Revival that aligns the hearts of God's people back to God. A revival that burns down the desire and cravings for hidden sin. God says, "I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you" (Isaiah 42:8-9 NIV).

God is calling His ecclesia to be attentive to what He has already started and the new things He is doing. This is a kairos moment, says the Lord. Embrace the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that you will hear what He hears from Jesus and become aware of what is yet to come.

This is a prophetic warning. Do not fall into the trap of the teachings of Balaam, which lead to spiritual compromise and moral decay. Instead, heed the call to holiness and purity. The Lord is bringing forth a new season, a time of awakening and revival. Be vigilant and discerning, turning away from all forms of idolatry and immorality.

1 Peter 1:14-16 (NIV) urges us, "As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'"

This is the moment to seek the Lord with all your heart, to allow the refining fire of His Spirit to purify and cleanse you. Stand firm in the truth of His Word, and let your life be a testimony of His grace and power. The time is now. Prepare your hearts, for the return of the Lord is near. Embrace the new things He is declaring and walk in the fullness of His purpose and destiny for your life.

Be Careful to Sow a Seed That You Would Like to Reap as a Harvest

The principle of sowing and reaping is a fundamental truth found in Scripture. It serves as a powerful reminder that our actions, choices, and attitudes have consequences, both for ourselves and for others.

[The Biblical Principle of Sowing and Reaping]
Galatians 6:7-8 (NIV) states: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."

This passage emphasizes that what we invest in, whether good or bad, will determine what we receive in return. Therefore, it's crucial to be intentional about the seeds we sow.

[Sowing Seeds of Righteousness]
Proverbs 11:18 (NIV) says: "A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward."

Sowing seeds of righteousness through acts of kindness, honesty, integrity, and faithfulness leads to a harvest of blessings and a life that reflects God's love and character.

[Sowing with Intention and Care]
The importance of careful and intentional sowing is highlighted in 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NIV): "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously."

Generosity and selflessness in our actions not only benefit others but also bring a bountiful return into our own lives. Being mindful of our actions ensures that we are planting seeds that will yield positive, life-giving outcomes.

[Understanding the Long-Term Impact]
Ecclesiastes 11:1 (NIV) encourages long-term thinking: "Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return."

This verse reminds us that sometimes the fruits of our labor are not immediately visible. Patience and perseverance are essential as we trust that the good seeds we sow will eventually produce a meaningful harvest.

[The Consequences of Negative Sowing]
Hosea 8:7 (NIV) warns: "They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind."

Sowing seeds of discord, dishonesty, or selfishness can lead to destructive and unforeseen consequences. It is a caution against engaging in harmful behaviors and a call to pursue what is right and good.

[Reflecting on Our Actions]
James 3:18 (NIV) provides insight into the kind of seeds we should aim to plant:
"Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness."

In today's world, we are often surrounded by many voices offering advice and guidance. While it is wise to seek counsel from trusted sources, it is crucial to prioritize the counsel of the Holy Spirit above all.

The Importance of the Holy Spirit's Guidance
===================================

John 14:26 (NIV) says, "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." The Holy Spirit, as our divine Counselor, provides wisdom, understanding, and direction that surpasses human advice. He leads us into all truth and aligns our hearts with God's will.

Seeking God’s Counsel First

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." While the insights of others can be valuable, we must first and foremost seek God's guidance. Submitting to the Holy Spirit ensures that our decisions and actions are rooted in divine wisdom.

PROPHETIC ALERT!!!
A Season of Surprises - Swift Shifts from the Field to the Palace
==========================================

In the Biblical account of David, we witness a profound transformation that illustrates God's ability to orchestrate swift shifts and unexpected surprises in the lives of His people. From tending the ewes, David was brought to be the shepherd of God's people, Israel, guiding them with integrity of heart and skillful hands (Psalm 78:70-72, NIV). This remarkable journey from the field to the palace serves as a powerful metaphor for the divine surprises and rapid transitions that God can bring about in our own lives.

From Obscurity to Prominence

David's story begins in the fields, where he faithfully tended his father's sheep. Unseen and unrecognized by many, he was diligently performing his duties, cultivating a heart of integrity and honing his skills. Yet, in God's perfect timing, David was called out of obscurity and anointed as the future king of Israel by the prophet Samuel (1 Samuel 16:11-13, NIV). This anointing marked the beginning of a divine shift that would lead him from the fields of Bethlehem to the royal courts of Jerusalem.

God's Sovereign Surprises

In this season, many like David are poised for a divine shift from the field to the palace. God is orchestrating surprising turnarounds, elevating those who have been faithful in the hidden places to positions of influence and authority. Just as David's promotion was sudden and unexpected, so too will be the transitions for those who have remained steadfast in their calling.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

A Call to Integrity and Skillfulness

David shepherded Israel with integrity of heart and guided them with skillful hands (Psalm 78:72, NIV).
As God brings His ecclesia into new seasons of leadership and influence, He calls for all to lead with the integrity and skill. This involves maintaining a pure heart, committed to God's ways, and continually developing the gifts and talents He has entrusted to us.

In Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV), we are instructed, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Our dedication to excellence and integrity in every aspect of our lives prepares us for the greater responsibilities God has planned.

Embrace the Shift

As we stand on the brink of a season of surprises, prepare to embrace the swift shifts that God is orchestrating. These transitions may come unexpectedly, but they are a testament to God's faithfulness and His ability to elevate those who have been faithful in the little things.

Let us remain vigilant, discerning the signs of the times, and responsive to God's leading with our hearts wholly devoted to Him.

PROPHETIC ALERT!!!
HOLINESS CANNOT BE SUBSTITUTED; GOD WILL NOT COMPROMISE HIS PURITY FOR THE IMPURITY OF THIS AGE.

"Holiness cannot be substituted; God will not compromise His purity for the impurity of this age. Repent, do not justify sin with doctrines and teachings that encourage unholiness."

This solemn exhortation resonates with the timeless truth proclaimed in 1 Peter 1:15-16 (NIV): "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'

God's holiness remains unchangeable and uncompromising, regardless of the shifting tides of culture or the prevailing norms of society.

In a world where moral relativism and situational ethics often blur the lines between right and wrong, this call to repentance rings out with urgency and clarity. It reminds us that true repentance involves not only acknowledging our sins but also turning away from them and aligning ourselves with God's holy standards.

The admonition to "not justify sin with doctrines and teachings that encourage unholiness" serves as a caution against the subtle dangers of theological compromise. It warns against the temptation to reinterpret or misinterpret Scripture to suit our own desires or to conform to the spirit of the age.

Instead, it calls us to embrace the unchanging truth of God's Word and to allow it to shape our beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors. It challenges us to pursue holiness with unwavering determination, knowing that it is only through holy living that we can truly reflect the character of our holy God.

Therefore, let us heed this call to repentance and holiness. Let us turn away from sin and embrace the righteousness that God desires for His people. May we be vigilant in guarding against any teachings or doctrines that compromise the purity of God's truth, and may we walk in the path of holiness, bringing glory and honor to His name.

PROPHETIC ALERT!!!
A CLARION CALL TO ALIGN WITH THE PREFERENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
=============================================

A resounding call echoes through the chambers of our hearts, urging us to align with the preference of the Holy Spirit.

In a world clamoring for our attention and allegiance, this call cuts through the noise, beckoning us to heed the gentle whisper of the Holy Spirit's leading.
To align with the preference of the Holy Spirit is to surrender our own desires and agendas at the feet of the Almighty. It is to relinquish control and submit to the divine guidance that surpasses human understanding.

In the book of Romans, we are reminded of the transformative power of aligning with the Holy Spirit's preference: "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit" (Romans 8:5, ESV). By aligning with the Spirit, we transcend the limitations of the flesh and embrace a higher, more fulfilling way of life.

But this alignment requires intentionality and discernment. It demands a willingness to silence the clamor of our own desires and listen attentively to the still, small voice of the Spirit. It requires humility to admit that our own wisdom is finite, while His is infinite.

As we align with the preference of the Holy Spirit, we find ourselves guided into paths of righteousness and peace. Our hearts become attuned to His leading, and our lives bear witness to the transformative power of His presence.

Let us heed this call to alignment with the Holy Spirit's preference. Let us yield ourselves fully to His guidance, trusting that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). And as we walk in step with the Holy Spirit, may our lives become a testimony to His goodness and grace, drawing others into the abundant life found only in Him.
