I dunno who will be on my side, but I enjoyed Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom much more than the critics said I would. Plus Amber Heard's role did not look so butchered or even very much forcibly reduced as other critcis said it would. It wasnt even that crazy of a CGI slogfest that i was expecting (side-eyes The Flash).

The ancient Atlantean tech with the Caterpillar-colored Octopods (my designation for them, I decided) was my favorite visual aspect. You could see the slight horror elements from James Wann's 'The Trench' pitch. Overall its a shame its doing sluggishly in the theatres...just go in blind and enjoy it for what it is. /endopinion>

One reason I love movies is the messages they have. Some are even better alternatives for ones we use everyday.

Example: instead of telling someone ‘Don’t sweat the small stuff’
- Overused
- Boring
- kind of obvious

Instead tell them ‘If you can dodge traffic, you can dodge a ball’
- motivational
- easy to recite
- metaphorically AND actually true

I started working on this almost two years ago as a followup to two other road safety PSAs (one bike-focused, and another car-focused), back when it looked like the world was getting a bit better-ish. My life changed, it got shelved multiple times, went back to it, improved the visuals, my life changed again, shelved it again, etc etc.

Think I've waited long enough to put it out because the message is more important right now...doh rush to the carnival fete, doh try to impress your valentine with your road-holding skills. It might not be worth it.

Thanks to Santana, Dean, Carl, Perry, Cee Media and everyone who got involved to make this happen. As recently as this month some didn't get that second chance...let's hope this somehow gives it to someone, somewhere.
