Akon has sampled 5-year-old Jamaican singer Rushawn's rendition of "Beautiful Day" in an upcoming track and, amazingly, he credited the young boy with $1 million while naming him as one of the songwriters. This means Rushawn will receive royalties for life! Additionally, Akon has promised to fly him to the United States for the official music video, giving him a chance to showcase his talent to the world.

Rushawn's version of "Beautiful Day" has been trending for over a year, but when Akon came across it, he discovered the boy came from a struggling family and wasn't benefiting financially from the song. Touched by the situation, Akon decided to collaborate with and support him. Although Akon had announced his retirement from music, he stepped back into the spotlight to transform the young singer’s life.
