Dallas needs to p*e!!! And if he doesn't soon they will have to cath him. He is clearly uncomfortable, but we want to try and get him to go on his own so we can scan him again after and see how much urine is still sitting in his bladder. He has retention issue and that could be another clue to this puzzle we are trying to solve. I put a warm pack on his bladder and am massaging it to see if that helps. It usually does the trick 🤞.

He still has not gone p*e since I changed his last wet diaper at 8:30pm LAST NIGHT. No p*e in over 13hrs is not good. So I had them ultrasound him and it says there is over 247mls sitting in his bladder. (Thats over 8oz which is a LOT for his tiny little body) That much urine and that much time creates a perfect environment for bacteria and UTI infections. His nurse said that Urology will be coming to see us today so I am happy they are taking my bladder concerns seriously.

The good news is that there have not been any seizures so far on the EEG!

Getting everything packed and ready to go for our 3-day hospital stay! Arrival time is 1pm then they will hook him up to the EEG where he will be continuously monitored for 48 hours. We will be watching for seizures and to get a better idea what the electrical activity in his brain looks like under different stimuli. While we are there I am going to demand a visit from Urology because I still have no answers on his bladder stones either 😒 I am hoping they will agree to at least flush his bladder and remove all that sediment with the help of a catheter. That way he can at least be more comfortable while they figure out what we need to do to prevent the stones in the first place. My only hesitation with doing that is it could actually introduce bacteria and cause a UTI. So there are risks to consider. Especially with how his his GI tract responds to certain antibiotics. The good news is that I will be sharing lots of extra pictures and videos over the next few days 🥰🥰

I gotta get back to it but wanted to give a quick update! Mr. Dallas has zero 🙅‍♀️ interest in waking up to help me pack 😴😴😴😂🥰
