A Note from Editor
Greeting Reader!
Thank you so much for having this magazine in your hands. I hope you find anything that is of your interest inside even if you may not be into science.
I remember when I first came up with this project, some people asked me why AOMPUL became the title of this magazine. Well...about six months ago, I was working on the proposal for this magazine. I would like to produce a magazine by choosing STEM as the topic, and science is its main theme. I wonder what would be the best title to remind us about this magazine, as well as the world of science by our first glance at it. Suddenly, I remember a story of Thomas Edison - the man who spent so many times to successfully invent long-lasting electric light bulb we are using today. With that story in mind, I came up with the idea that I need to produce a STEM magazine with its title no other than AOMPUL.
AOMPUL is simply not just a title for this magazine. It is the symbolic icon, which represents the moment when a suddenly good idea pop up in our mind, and we are firmly confident to give it a try even if we do not know about the result. That moment has happened to so many people everywhere in the world, and also here in Cambodia, especially young people. Through this magazine, you would find interesting stories about Cambodian youth, who are able to turn their idea into action, and share the result with people around them.
I hope once you, as the reader, have read their stories, you would be inspired the same, and figure out that a good idea is not difficult to find. It is all around us. You just need to keep your eyes open and observe the world.
