The money you want is in people. All you have to do is find a way of getting it from them legally. You can do that by helping them solve a problem and they will pay you. Zig Ziglar said "You can get anything you want in life if you can help enough people get what they want". Your aim though should be to be wealthy so that you can have both time and money and use your time to focus on your purpose. Do this by having passive income through buying assets so that they can work for you even when you are sleeping. As Warren Buffett said "If you don't find a way to make money while sleeping, you will work until you die".

if you live average life.thats being like everyone else you then work for three people

if your employed
you work for the company.making owners and share holders rich

if you have debt
then you work for the bank.credt card, loan for school fees and mortgage makes the bank rich through interest

you work for the government
gvt takes your money before you receive it. that's through tax. the more you receive it. the more you pay in taxes

if you work from January to december.then you give government your salary of two and half months

if you work for 40 years, it means you have worked six years just for taxes
