Lately, I’ve been immersing myself in a few books that speak to the soul. I recently finished Your Guide to Forest Bathing, a delicate blend of science and serenity, inviting one to experience nature with every sense attuned—an intimate conversation with the earth. This summer, I also found my way back to poetry, a path I wandered years ago, (and even had some of my work published a couple of places) before life led me elsewhere. Now, with fresh eyes, I’ve rekindled my love for words, savoring the beauty woven by others. And finally, Walden—a work I’ve long known of but never truly met. Now feels like the moment to sit with Thoreau, to listen deeply to his reflections on nature and simplicity, and perhaps find a mirror in them.
