Pony club great jacking challenge 2024
We had great fun taking part in 2024, the lovely little gifts to spur them on with the training, helping them reach goals they never imagined they would. Brilliant for building strength and stamina for all disciplines and thoroughly enjoyed by ponies and riders.
Milly-moo how we wish you had come into our lives years earlier, but we are so thankful for the years we have had. These photos only a tiny handful of the thousands we have of you . Mainly Amber as she was the last to ride you and it would take ages to scroll through all the ones from years ago. 4 almost 5 yrs amazing years with Ellenna and Amber who was a tiny 6year old in many of the jumping photos. You truly live up to your name ‘One in a Million’ and your pace is firmly here with us until the end ❤️

I did make the old sod lead Dash at the end,but Dash didn’t believe me that Darib wasn’t actually going to bite his face off 🤪
Amber had ridden Zeta so decided to walk Honey out. Before we knew it Amber was onboard with just an exercise sheet attached by the Velcro which is meant to go over the ponies wither, round Honey’s chest as it’s so big and a head collar😳🙈
Honesty I can only imagine what the villagers must think of us 🤣

British showjumping Academy champs 2024
I forgot to post to fb.
Academy National Champs at 4am Tuesday morning after arriving home from Ireland Monday evening😴. Quinn came 6th in his warm up class which we were super happy with. Then their team came 7th in the academy class, but no individual placing for Quinny who went a bit green at the marquees and amount of noise from the stands in the second days arena.
Woody jumped brilliantly as ever, but a tight turn in the jump-off caused them to pick up faults so no individual placing for him in the academy class. The team had a few issues across the board so no team placing either unfortunately, but that’s sport for you.
We had a great time seeing our area 33 friends and that’s what matters most.

Our Big Irish Adventure 🇮🇪
Finally our Big Irish Adventure🇮🇪It was a busy day & with our amazing crew (Daddy EPA, Ellenna & Poppy) chasing us round the Irish countryside, we didn’t get more than a few photos. We were lucky to meet Zoe with the Welsh team though, who kindly filmed us on course. We are so grateful for this, it means we can rewatch these special memories with Amber in years to come❤️
Zeta was buzzing to get going at the start, but Amber stayed calm. She knew Zeta would focus as soon as she was on the move, which she did. Our plucky little duo took on all the challenges thrown at them. Amber talked Zeta through the tricky parts, plenty of ‘up Zeta, up’ as they tackled the steep banks & ‘over girl’ at the ditches. Zeta in turn kept her little jockey safe & stepped up to help Anona when she had dips in confidence or was losing momentum. It wasn’t easy especially for their first 40km.
The finish couldn’t have come soon enough for Anona & I, but Amber & Zeta finished well. We presented to the vet as soon as we could to prevent Zeta getting too frustrated at waiting around and not being able to eat. Zeta towed me down the vetting lane to prove to the vet she was ok & got the nod to say she had passed. Whoop 🙌🏻
I don’t think Amber really understands what a fantastic achievement it was in Ireland. Still at the lovely age where it was just exciting & she worries about nothing. 8yrs old on her 7yr old pony, in their first season though, we are so proud!

Beaufort polo club 2024
First race meeting of the season with the wonderful Shetland Performance Display Team for Amber and Traffina last weekend.
They smashed it by coming fourth which put them in the final!
So proud of this young pony taking such care of her little jockey. Big sis Ellenna did a great job of producing her for Amber even though she wishes she had, had the chance to race Traffina more(unfortunately covid and Traffina only just being backed when we bought her shortened Ellenna’s racing time significantly).
We can’t wait to see how the season progresses for these two. I am sure they will only get better and better 🧡

The Golden horseshoe 2024
The Golden horseshoe, you were incredible….
A first for us all, so only the 25km Bambi ride, but if we never do it again I am so happy I got to do it on my unicorn horse, Darib. A day short of his 25th birthday and we sailed round. I wish he had come into my life sooner (2021), but I am so unbelievably lucky to have been trusted with such a special horse.
Amber rode amazingly and Zeta showed such agility and skill over the ground. I was worried before we went that her feet wouldn’t hold up being barefoot, but no need to have worried she could have easily gone round twice.
Our crew were fab and did a top job of ensuring the horses and riders were supported along the route, even when signal problems meant finding the crew points was tricky. It is so different to a days showjumping or dressage and so new to everyone we have all felt a little out of our depths, but it’s all clicking into place . Everyone has to be hands on!
To the ride organisers, sponsors, volunteers, vets and land owners THANK YOU! Everyone was so lovely, the route so much fun and we loved our free gifts. Amber and I left wanting to do more and I don’t think the crew want to throw the towel in yet either!
