OMG y'all my first acted commercial is out for the California Department of Public Health! Very thankful that it's a q***r role and that it's about something I care deeply about. I remember the day being so hectic as I was driving for an hour through traffic to get from a Netflix picket to Santa Monica in the afternoon. I remember scrambling to slap some makeup on myself over the trunk of my car.

It was just another audition for me, as I've done plenty at that point but still haven't gotten one get. I've gotten some avails, but no bookings. They kept me there for 2 hours going in an out with different actors. I didn't want to get my hopes up, but they told me that they wanted me on the spot and was just chemistry testing at that point with other actors.

There were so many times I wondered if I just wasn't cut out lookwise, voicewise, or talent-wise for this industry, but the past few months have been pretty damn affirming. And I'm glad I can share this win with you all.
