Words Maplewood's Bookstore thank you for hosting the very first talk and signing for The Visionary In Charge by Dave Noll TV!!

Dave’s talk was beyond inspiring! So many nuggets of wisdom, but one of my favorite things he said was just to have fun!! No matter what. You are going to face a lot of rejection and disappointments, so you may as well smile and have fun along the way!!! But he also reminded the room that anyone and everyone can be a Visionary!!!

The turnout was incredible!!!! Standing room only as all the seats were taken!! A packed house buzzing with excitement.

Plus it was amazing to have some of our Inspired Girl Publishing Group authors there too!! You all inspire me so much!!!

When it’s winter we all dream of summer. And nothing days “Summer” like the beaches of the Jersey Shore. Author and photographer Gregory Andrus set out last year to photograph the people who visited our shore beaches last summer on his Minolta 35mm film camera. This exhibition highlights the people he met in beach towns from Ocean Grove to Chadwick Beach to Seaside Park to Island Beach State Park. A special Portraits of Summer 2023 commemorative book will be sold at the exhibit, live music will be on hand, and of course great treats and coffee from Spire Coffeehouse. Come on out and warm up with this “Portraits of Summer 2023” exhibit.

To be a restaurateur, it takes many skills. The creativity for concept and menu design, the precision with numbers and team building, the ability to delegate are just a small few. But the heart, the mental strength, the continued learning is a big part of it!!

Chef James Avery’s story is incredible and beyond inspiring. From delivering pizzas to graduating culinary school to being Gordon Ramsay’s Sous Chef on several of his hit television shows including Kitchen Nightmares to opening several of his own restaurants (and many more for others!) each with unique concepts, the knowledge he has to share to help others runs deep!!

Chef James believes in doing the necesssary work so that we each can become the best expression of ourselves. Hi everyone! Gregory here, creator of this page and online community. I am incredibly proud to announce that I have a brand new publishing deal for my next book! Inspired Girl Publishing Group is a boutique publisher located right here at the Shore. I will be on their imprint, Inspired by You. Inspired by You Books includes titles that connect readers through subject matter and transport readers to places perfect for their soul and spirit. The Inspired Girl mission is to bring forth content that connects us, spreads light, encourages healing, screams JOY, and is love in awesome motion.

They are dedicating themselves to working closely with me on my next book, Portraits of Hope and Inspiration. We are living in unsteady and challenging times. More people are finding themselves more anxious, more unsettled and more nervous than ever before. My book will be filled with stories of people who faced difficult challenges and overcame them. Included will be my own detailed account of overcoming alcoholism, homelessness and being shot in the head. I am making this book for all of us, to help us remember that we are not alone, and we can overcome whatever challenges we face. The book is slotted for 2024. My intention is to have it go national. Songs are powerful. Grunge music, the music of the 90s impacted our generation and the generations to come in ways we are still discovering!! People of all ages came out last night to celebrate the music that made us feel seen and heard, and Rob Janicke shared stories about its impact, personal stories about how it helped him, asked us trivia, gave away some books and fun prizes, while Chris Morrisy played the gamut of 90s songs from Alice In Chains to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day to REM, Indigo Girls, and everything in between!!

An amazing night all around and I could not stop smiling having my daughter there to help out (she rocked it!!) and spend fun time together, old friends to laugh with, Inspired Girls + Guys to dream with, and new friends + strangers to connect with over songs and music.

Rob + Chris you guys rocked!!!

Does being creative seem out of your realm? One of her 10 keys is to set up a creative space for the making!! According to JoAnn, “It doesn’t need to be Pinterest perfect either, it just needs to be useful and inspire you to create!! And don’t worry, she has so many ideas to create creative spaces no matter how much room or budget you have!!

You can easily find an old piece of furniture or repurpose a chest or hutch and create a space to relax. Garage sales and even Facebook marketplace have items people are happy to donate and give away for a small amount of money. Look for cabinets that have enough space to keep all your supplies organized at the same time. You can create a precious moment by painting it together with your children.
