The government has earlier amended the recommended booster dose interval for fully vaccinated adults starting December 22, 2021.

DOH reiterates the following are the required volumes of COVID-19 vaccines for those getting their booster dose: 👇

All fully vaccinated adults (18 years old and above) are now eligible to receive single-dose booster shots at least three months after the second dose of the following vaccines: AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, Sinovac, and Sputnik V.

Meanwhile, those who were inoculated with Janssen vaccine can get their booster shots at least 2 months after their first dose.

The Department of Health also reiterates that booster shots are not recommended for ages 12-17 years old.

Ngayong 4 PM, Setyembre 6, 2021, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 22,415 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 20,109 na gumaling at 103 na pumanaw.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 7.6% (159,633) ang aktibong kaso, 90.8% (1,909,361) na ang gumaling, at 1.63% (34,337) ang namatay.

Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong September 4, 2021 habang mayroong 8 laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng 8 labs na ito ay humigit kumulang 2.3% sa lahat ng samples na naitest at 2.3% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal.

Sa mga susunod na araw ay maari pang tumaas ang ating mga kaso ng COVID-19. Ang pagsunod sa minimum public health standards, maiging pagsasagawa ng PDITR strategies, at pagbabakuna ay nanatiling pinakapabisang depensa sa COVID-19. Mahalaga rin na tayo ay mag-isolate at makipagugnayan sa BHERTs kung tayo ay may sintomas ng COVID-19. Ang maagang konsultasyon at pagpapatest ay makatutulong upang maputol ang hawaan sa mga bahay, komunidad, at sa mga lugar na pinagtatrabahuhan.
