It is actually Week 3 of the but as per usual I am drowning and can barely keep up with anything at the moment. Week 2 was a lot of prep, new windows, insulation and sheet rock! PLUS we have a tub! Check out the progress on the blog + Introducing someone special!

It's with time that I realize more and more what I really want in this life. What is sexy? How does sexy feel? From 30 to 40, loss, grief, success, failures... I can tell you it is vastly different.
This photoshoot was 48 hours before a surgery to correct my c-section that didn't heal quite right and was thought to have obstructed our embryo we transferred in December of last year. I felt HORRIBLE. BUT SOMETHING IN ME SAID SAY YES. It is the best I ever felt in my body and the worst I have ever felt all at the same time. How can that be?

Well, the time has FINALLY come! I am participating on the 2024 Fall One Room Challenge & boy is this a challenge! We just recently moved and purchased our DREAM HOME, a 1960's Mid-Century Eichler inspired home ( fixer- upper) with emphasis on the fixer AND the upper haha . 2024 is the year of joy for me...what brings me joy whether simple or extravagant. Brunch with friends, music, thrifting, walks with my family & more.I have been celebrating it all hence the late ass post. Haha it's fine. Thanks to for probably one of the most memorable brunch's I have ever been to. THE BEST in LAS VEGAS hands down. Downtown! Late or not I love sharing so let's just assume anything I post is late k. Almost a year ago to date I embarked on my 2nd and I knew I needed to do something with our entry way. When I walk in I want to feel something I just wasn't sure until I saw this wallpaper on website.
Almond Blossom paper is described as a romantic wallpaper inspired by Japanese woodcut prints, drawn from Van Gogh’s masterful command of color and emotion, and wow, does it evoke emotion alright and I FELL IN LOVE with the rich color combo. I know chartreuse isn't the beige taupe and white you see normally, but let's face it, none of those colors evoke what this does in my.entry way Don't get me wrong, there is a time a place, this entry way wasn't one of them.

I know so good! This pattern comes in 6 colorways, but the CHARTREUSE was calling my name!

Happy Friday! In case you missed it I FINALLY revealed the built ins and some more special details from my dining room & adult parlor make over for the . While ai still have to finish the styling of these built ins, I love how they turned out. I did want them to be shiny like high gloss but still not sure how to achieve that...any advice would be amazing! I also am still waiting on a rug from Morroco and the art piece that will sit above the couch that I am painting is not quite done. BUT that is ok, I am in love with every detail. From new finds to pieces handed down from my family, this room will be well lived in, played in, laughed in, and always sat in. Zev can touch it all haha no plastic runners here! .
Will update once I get the final touches but what do you think? I know my style isn't the "instagram aesthetic" but neither am I , THIS IS WHO I AM !

Happy Monday! Continuing on my living room/dining room reveal. I wanted to share a picture of the actual chairs ! It was hard to show it all, but here they are! From the rams heads, ironically my Aries baby made me fall in love with these even more. To the pop of orange which was like 75% off and the fun graphic i thought they came out great! They will serve as the seats to my Vintage game console..ms pacman, gyrus, frogger, burger time 80s perfection.
Next up is the built-ins that my hubby built and choosing the hardware for the cabinets & more!

Happy Snowy Wednesday from Vegas! Since I took a hundred years to get thisnwhole project done for my challenge why don't we share the pictures and reveal all of the details. And while I am still not DONE DONE with all the details it is in a really great place. See whe you are a thrifter / antique collector / everything has a story and you can't make up your mind because you want to use it all type of designer/ LIFE has a funny way of getting in the way....YOU MUST CELEBRATE all of the progress!
Will share a close of the light dimmers because I fell in LOVE with these from and was the perfect accessory to my Tuscan Mural landscape from . The chandelier makes my heart smile and who knew would end of in my very ecclectic maximalist house. Ok, working on my chair reveals but must get to meetings will share soon!

Happy Birthday Shmennifer. I will never forget when I first met Jennifer. It was 6th grade at her locker. I thought she had the coolest locker accessories and somehow we hung it with the same crew, went to see Aladdion IN THE THEATRES haha she lost her Green Day cd and I was devastated for her. We became the best of friends. She invited me to her house for her birthday and it was a slumber party. The only place I was allowed to spend the night. We ate amazing food her mom cooked and watched Untamed Heart with Christian slater haha our obsession for Jordan Knight was on the same level and there was just a calmness I always felt. We always found ourselves coming together in moments in our life..some amazing and some that were not always the best but we didn't even have to say anything and we both were there for eachother. Losses, love, and so many amazing things in between. One of my longest and dearest Sagittarius ♐️ bff's apparently I need all the fire 🔥 in my life. Love you Shmennifer 31 years of friendship. To 31 more! xoxo I need to find some junior high photos!

Happy Birthday Tara! It has been an incredible journey together from the moment I met you in the parking lot in college after rushing a sorority that neither of us thought we would be a part of...some of the best nights of our life...dancing the night away, studying our butts off, always trying something new and ways together. You brought home what would soon be my best friend and first fur baby Sasha, over 20 years of friendship and always being there for me when I needed you most. I'm sad I can't be with you today to celebrate your special day but the fact that Zevy is with you makes my heart full. Wishing you an amazing year to come...hopefully it has more shenanigans included in it. Here are just a few of our more recent adventures. But this picture ways reminds me that we made wearing jeans and a fancy top to the club cool. Haha love you!!!

There are no words. This year has taken all of us on a path we never thought we would have to take. I keep coming up for air as my heart races with anxiety and fear. All is calm until it starts all over again. Busy has taken on a whole new meaning but somehow doesn't seem as important as it once did. Time has stood still for almost 12 months. Everything and everyone around me has been in pain somehow or some way and I have found myself not even knowing what to say or do. In a very social world I have felt very much alone. But it's ok. Because I come up for air again except this time everything seems clear and instead of anxiety and fear there is a clarity & wisdom that fills me, shining a light on what is truly important. I can see only this, and with that I am truly thankful for the path this year has taken me on. Because without it I would never know what was waiting for me on the other side. 📸

I always look forward to October in Vegas. It isn't cold but there is a slight coolness since anything under 100 feels amazing haha but somehow I am always like 2 weeks late to the party. It's ok. Thankful for friends & family who help to get me back up again. Pumpkin patch, apple picking, and fresh apple cider make for an amazing morning. Hoping you are all finding a way to get outside on this beautiful day with your family and friends! Xoxo
