SAR Search and Rescue Playthrough
In 1989, SNK, renowned for its popular RNG arcade games, introduced a Run-and-Gun action game that stands as their most gruesome title to date.
The game's narrative, inspired (ahem) by Aliens, unfolds in the distant future. A colonial ship loses all communication with headquarters and is eventually located on the surface of a neighboring alien planet, having crashed due to an unspecified incident. Two elite soldiers from the SAR (Search and Rescue) force are dispatched to investigate. They soon discover that the ship's crew is either dead or assimilated by an alien mutant virus.
