*Hon Ahwinahwi Visits Ewu Monarch, Says All Things Work For Good*

Former member of the House of Reps, Hon. Solomon Ahwinahwi, has visited the Ovie of Ewu Kingdom, Urhukpe1, in Abuja to rejoice with him over his release by the military.

Hon Ahwinahwi who visited the monarch in company of Delta PDP stalwart, Chief Ighoyota Amori, said he was saddened over the event that led to the arrest and incarceration of the monarch.

The former lawmaker thanked God for vindicating the King and his subsequent release.

He urged the monarch not to worry about the trauma and other inconveniences suffered but take solace in the word of God in Romans 8:28 which says, “All things work together for good to those who love God.”

Hon Ahwinahwi prayed God to protect the monarch and his family and grant him a peaceful reign.

He assured the innocent displaced residents of Okuama community that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will ensure their safe return and rehabilitation noting that the Governor is a man of his words

Hon Ahwinahwi, a prominent Chief in Urhoboland, thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his supportive role since the unfortunate crisis erupted.

*EASTER: HON AHWINAHWI URGES CHRISTIANS TO* *IMBIBE VIRTUES OF LOVE, PATIENCE, PERSEVERANCE*

Two-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has urged Deltans to imbibe the virtues of love, patience and perseverance, as demonstrated by Jesus Christ during His crucifixion.

Hon Ahwinahwi who spoke in his Easter message to Deltans, noted that Easter is a time for Christians to reflect on the sufferings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is the founder of the Christian faith.

He urged Deltans to use this period to give thanks to God for renewed hope by virtue of the risen Christ and strengthen the bond of love and unity, among themselves irrespective of tribe or religion.

The lawmaker also urged Deltans to double their support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to enable him fast track and fully implement his MORE Agenda.

He congratulated all Deltans on the Easter celebration and assured them that the state is on course with Governor Oborevwori in the saddle.

Two-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has congratulated the Onanogharen of Udu Kingdom, Chief Steve Sokoh, on his 70th birth anniversary.

In a statement, Hon Ahwinahwi described Chief Steve Sokoh as a political colossus, whose contributions to the growth and peace of Udu Kingdom is unquantifiable.

Hon Ahwinahwi noted that Chief Sokoh who has served Udu Kingdom in various capacities as well as Transition Committee Chairman of Udu Local Government, has brought his wealth of experience to bear in repositioning Udu Kingdom.

He added that Chief Sokoh is a thoroughbred community leader, excellent politician, meticulous in his dealings and reputed for his honesty.

Hon Ahwinahwi recalled countless number of times that he has benefitted from the invaluable advice and words of wisdom of Chief Sokoh, noting that he is a peaceful leader with outstanding charisma.

The former lawmaker prayed God to grant him good health, long life and more prosperity.

Two time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has congratulated wife of Delta State Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, on her 54th birthday anniversary.

In a statement, Hon Ahwinahwi said Dcns Oborevwori is a virtuous woman as she possesses all the qualities stated by the scripture in Proverbs 31 verse 10-31.

Hon Ahwinahwi noted that the benevolence and humility displayed by Dcns Oborevwori to all who come her way, irrespective of class or tribe, have endeared her to Deltans thus earning her the name "Mama Delta".

The former lawmaker commended Delta First Lady for standing by her husband in place of prayers and moral defence, noting that she has been a solid pillar of support to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori whom he referred to as his beloved brother.

He added that through her pet project "You Matter Charity Foundation", she has helped hundreds of indigent women and children in the state.

The Izomo 1 of Agbarho Kingdom prayed God to grant Her Excellency all-round happiness and long life in good health as she celebrates.

Former member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Solomon Ahwinahwi, has expressed best wishes to former Secretary to Delta State Government, Rt. Hon. Ovie Agas on his birthday.

In a goodwill message, the former lawmaker said Rt. Hon. Agas is an illustrious son of Urhobo Nation who has distinguished himself in various fields of endeavour, especially in politics and good governance in Delta State.

The statement noted that Rt. Hon. Agas was in the State House of Assembly as a lawmaker and also served meritoriously as Chief of Staff Government House and Secretary to Delta State Government.

Two-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has mourned the death of renowned political leaders and elder statesman, Chief Patrick Okitiakpe.

Hon Ahwinahwi in a statement described the demise of Chief Okitiakpe as a great loss to Ekakpramre community, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State and Nigeria at large.

The former lawmaker noted that Chief Okitiakpe was a father and mentor to him and several others including the late Senator Pius Ewherido.

He stressed that the Late Chief Okitiakpe was not only a founding father of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta State but an industrialist, who empowered substantial number of Deltans through gainful employment.

Hon Ahwinahwi noted that Chief Okitiakpe will be greatly missed for his humble lifestyle, invaluable words of advice and wisdom.

He prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

*Ahwinahwi Bids Mama Agnes Tager Farewell, Condoles Dcns Oborevwori, Husband*

Two-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, on Friday joined other dignitaries to pay their last respect to the mother of Delta First Lady, Late Mama Agnes Tager at Evwreni Town, Ughelli North LGA.

The former lawmaker, while speaking with newsmen at the ceremony, prayed God to grant Mama Tager's soul eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

He specifically prayed for Delta State First Lady, Deaconess Tobore and her husband, Right Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, and urged them to take solace in the fact that mama lived a fulfilled life.

Right Hon Ahwinahwi used the opportunity to commend Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his good works across the state especially the award of three flyovers, cloverleaf interchange and road expansion in the twin cities of Warri and Effurun to construction giant, Julius Berger.

He called on Deltans to sustain their support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to enable him do more in advancing the state.

*Ahwinahwi Congratulates Former Gov Okowa on His Birthday*

Two-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on his birthday anniversary.

A goodwill message signed by the former lawmaker, prayed God to grant Dr Okowa long life laced with divine health, immeasurable peace and wisdom to succeed in all his endeavours.

Hon Ahwinahwi who described the former Governor as his beloved elder brother and mentor, said owing to the unequaled achievements of Dr Okowa, he ought to be celebrated by all Deltans.

He explained that Dr Okowa is a man of his words who has used his God given wisdom to navigate through murky waters of politics and has indelibly written his name in gold.

Hon Ahwinahwi recalled how he nicknamed former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa "The Road Master" owing to his tremendous achievements in the construction and renovation of roads as well as other landmark infrastructure across the state.

He wished Dr Okowa a happy birthday, noting that he is one of the best things that have happened to Delta State.

A former two-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has called on married couples in Nigeria to make their partners their best friends.

Hon Ahwinahwi gave the advice during the reception of a newly wedded couple, Engr and Mrs Ovie Akpoyibo, which took place at the Chevron Club, Edjeba Warri at the weekend.

Chief Ahwinahwi noted that, in this period of economic stress in the country,, one sure way of achieving a peaceful and happy home is for husbands to make their wives their best friends. That way, couples would be blind to most of the natural faults of their spouses, he added.

On hand to grace the occasion were the former Secretary to Delta State Government, Chief Ovouzorie Macaulay, former House of Reps member, Chief Napoleon Gbinije and former Delta Commissioner, Chief Fred Majemite.

Others were PDP chieftain, Chief Okiemute Oviri Okwagbe, Lagos-based business man, Chief Elliot Ukutse, Chief Duke Arhere, Chief Harrison Veta and former councillor in Ughelli South, Hon. Stella Ogigba and Adia Dioru among others.
