The Velours I’m gonna change MGM demo. Apparently this is a boot and I agree, the MGM logo on the record the lion is holding should be legible. I recently saw one forsale for a rediculous amount in Australia.

Everyone hates them but for most of us, back in the day, they were the only way we stood a chance of owning them, PS we were 16 and new no better FFS. So I thought I’d just start to post images of boots for posterity and hopefully allow people to see the pitfalls of our music. I know there are books out there but i started this as a bit of fun, I have had most of these since the 70’s. Please feel free to add images, so people know what’s out there, also please feel free, if possible to post a pic of the real one adjacent. Please include in the description as much info as possible so searches can be performed.
