THREE YEARS LATER -JULY 9
Three years ago today, indian country changed in Oklahoma. The Supreme Court of the United States of America ruled 5-4 that as pertaining to the Major Crimes Act, much of the eastern portion of the state of Oklahoma remains as Native American lands of the prior Indian reservations of the Five Civilized Tribes, never disestablished by Congress as part of the Oklahoma Enabling Act of 1906.

So this is quite a wall, I can only imagine what the gate is going to look like. Why would we need this for a Cherokee food distribution center?

THAT IS A BIG WALL.
While driving down HWY 20 today near Owasso, I noticed the latest development at the multi-million dollar former Cares Act funded project which housed both a virtual production soundstage and warehouse for food and PPE storage and distribution.

Now it is the Cherokee Nation Film Studios only. Would love a citizens open house tour someday.

Gotta protect the investment. How much was that wall? It sure is big and pretty.
